Thus, Della decides it is time for a change and starts plans to ensure that the bookshop is a success. Despite the fact that she does not get enough support as she had expected, she still is more than determined to ensure that the bookshop becomes a success.

As she continues to find herself constantly in several difficult situations, Della continues to fight on. With that said, will Della’s bookshop prove to be a success or her husband prediction that the shop is going to fail come true? With that said, the Bookshop on Rosemary Lane is a delicious and wonderful read. Della is not only caring, but she is also strong and highly talented. The reader is going to fall in love with her ideas. Even in situations when her life is not going on as expected, she still manages to soldier on. Della managed to carefully take care of herself, and it was exceedingly fun to watch Della progress with the bookshop. The combination of books and foods is exceedingly great as well as the vivid descriptions of the numerous mouth-watering cookbooks and dishes. Author Ellen Berry has a rather lovely and warm style of writing. This novel is not only cozy but also quite charming as well. Della is an exceedingly strong character. Despite the fact that there is some sadness in her life, she still manages to handle it extremely well, and the narrative feels somehow uplifting because of her resilient personality. If you are a person who loves cookbooks or cooking in general, then you are going to fall in love with the Bookshop on Rosemary Lane.

The Little Baker on Rosemary Lane

In the Little Bakery on Rosemary Lane, author Ellen Berry introduces the readers to Roxanne. Roxanne had left Yorkshire, during her teen years. Now, Roxanne is in her late forties and is employed as a fashion editor. Roxanne is highly successful in everything that she does. However, one day something happens at work, which eventually leaves her unsettled, it also gets her into trouble with the person that she was dating. With things heating up, Roxanne decides to head to Burley Bridge so that she can stay with Della, her sister. Della is in charge of a cookbook shop, which is located on Rosemary Lane. Because Yorkshire is in every way much different from London, will Roxanne be able to adapt fully? Roxanne is not sure for how long she is going to stay at her cousin’s place. Initially, Roxanne had believed that the countryside was going to be boring. However as time goes by, she finds herself enjoying the long walks with the dog, helping at the shop and even making new friends. It does not take long before Roxanne begins to fall in love with Michael, the good-looking bakery owner whose shop is located right across the street. With that said, the Little Bakery on Rosemary Lane is an exceedingly charming story about cookbooks, delicious bread, and fashion.

Roxanne is a highly likable character. Apart from being very creative, Roxanne is somewhat insecure, kind and artistic. Roxanne is dating a professional photographer, who is extremely selfish. Despite the fact that the man’’ character was a little bit cliché, it was still fun to read about him. In this new town, Roxanne is presented with an opportunity of looking back at his old life in London. As time goes by, Roxanne begins to transform and eventually becomes true to herself. She eventually realizes that she can have a satisfying life in several ways. However, the choices that she makes has to be hers and not someone else’s. Author, Ellen Berry is a highly gifted author. Rosemary Lane is romantic and quaint, while the inhabitants themselves are endearing. The readers are going to love reading about Michael and the bread that he bakes. Michael has fascinating children, with his daughter giving another emotional layer to the narrative.
