Ellie Cahill is the pseudonym of Liz Czukas who writes a series of bestselling romance novels. As Czukas, she is best known for writing romantic comedies for adults and teens that have been compared to the movies of John Hughes.

On the other hand, Cahill’s romantic comedies have often been compared to the movies of Nora Ephron. As such, one can always be certain of some kissing, witty banter and some laughs reading her novels.

Before she became an author, Ellie was a delivery and labor nurse. In her earlier years, she had gone to college where she had earned a bachelor of arts in anthropology and ancient history and then a Nurse-Midwifery master’s degree.

Cahill currently makes his home in Wisconsin where she lives with her family and dogs that she often posts on her Instagram feed.
When she is not writing her bestselling romances she can often be found spending time with family. She loves spending a lot of her time on Twitter and Facebook in addition to Tumblr and Instagram.

With her family, she likes to watch TV programs such as Westeros, Zombies, and The Doctor.

Cahill has asserted that she has been writing for the longest time. As a kid and teenager, she wrote short stories, then fan fiction and nonfiction for a health information website among many others.

She got her first encouragement to become an author when her senior year teacher told her she was a good writer. They bet that he would get a 5 on her AP English test and indeed she did. The things that her teacher taught her during this time stuck with her and she went on to dedicate her debut to her.
Ellie Cahill started publishing as Liz Czukas and her young adult works would be published under that name. When she got a book deal for her first adult novel, her publisher argued that she needed a new identity so that readers would not be confused.

It was from this that she took on the pseudonym Ellie Cahill, which she chose as she believed it was easy for readers to pronounce. While she writes books for different audiences, many of her works have a crossover audience.

Many of her readers like her romantic comedy and fun feeling in both her adult and young adult fiction.

Ellie Cahill’s novel “I Temporarily Do” is set a few days before Emy the con artist is set to leave for a prestigious graduate program. The problem is that she has no money and nowhere to live when she finally moves.

But Beckett is having an even worse day as his fiance told him she is leaving a few days before their wedding. He has been left single, which means he can no longer live in the married student housing he intended to.

He is a man without a wife and a girl without a home who gets together for a quick wedding that will solve their problems. What they have is a purely business and they do not intend to tell anyone of it, as they intend to get it annulled in a few months.

However, Becket had not told her that he lived in a one-bedroom house and now everyone at Middlesex university is telling them that they are such a great couple. Their newlywed game is starting to feel less of a game as they develop feelings for each other.

“The Designated +1” by Ellie Cahill is the story of Will and Hadley, who have known each other ever since they were kids. However, it has been a long time since they had talked or seen each other.

Hadley used to have a huge crush on Will’s brother and one day dog-sitting his parents’ dog they bump into each other. Hadley has for several months been running a very successful pet care business while Will has been working construction crew for his father while trying to become a realtor as a side hustle.
The two soon become fast friends and it is not long before they are doing each other favors. Among these favors include being +1 for each other in the many weddings that they have to attend in the busy summer season.

It is a great story that sees two likable people transform from friends to lovers.

Ellie Cahill’s novel “Save the Secret Date” is the story of Jake and Mary.
Mary has a reputation for being a person that can be trusted with secrets. Once her lips are sealed you can guarantee that they will stay that way.
Unfortunately, other people’s secrets are not the only ones that she keeps as her crush on Jake her former roommate has remained a secret for years until he moved 2000 miles away.

Since one of their mutual friends is having a destination wedding in Mexico, the two may meet again for the first time in more than three years.
Will she finally be able to bare her heart to him? What will happen when she does?
