She has written several mind-blowing books in her writing career, including Hello Goodbye, First Love, Expelled, Humans Bow Down, Sophia Princes Among Beasts, Two From the Heart, etc. Raymond has written most of her books in collaboration with writers like James Patterson, Brian Slits, Shan Serafin, Maxine Paetro, Rees Jones, and Frank Constantini. Her young adult books have been written as a ghostwriter by her. One of Raymond’s books has featured on the number one spot of the New York Times bestsellers’ list. As of today, Raymond resides in Portland, Oregon with her family. She continues to write even today and is currently busy with the development of her latest novel.

A popular book written by author Emily Raymond in her career is entitled ‘First Love’. It was released in 2013 by the Little, Brown, and Company publication. Raymond has mentioned the lead characters in this novel in the roles of Axi Moore, Robinson, Carole Ann, and several others. This novel’s story revolves around a crazy road trip, a love story, a heartbreak, cancer, and drama. Raymond and Patterson have described a story of a first crush that goes on to become a formidable love. The extraordinary portrait of real love depicted in this book is capable of moving anyone having a story of the first love of their own. Initially, Axi Moore and Robinson are introduced as best friends. Axi Moore is depicted as a good girl. She follows all the rules, studies hard, keeps high ambitions, and never disappoints her parents. However, she secretly wishes to run away from her boring and mundane lifestyle. Axi Moore wants to explore the world and enjoy every moment of her life. But, she does not tell anyone what her heart really craves for.

Robinson is the only person Axi trusts with her secret. She can afford to tell him everything as he is her closest friend and the only person she can really consider a friend. Axi is also in love with Robinson, but doesn’t let him know about her feelings for him. Later, Axi Moore asks Robinson to join her on a cross-country road trip at the last moment. At first, Robinson is shocked to know that Axi is thinking of going on a road trip as she is about to break a self-made rule for the very first time. But, he does not stop Axi and accompanies her on the exciting road trip. After a few initial joyful days, the trip turns into an out of control affair as Robinson and Axi get chased by cops. While running away from the police, Robinson collapses. This makes Axi worried about him and at the same time, she blames herself for his condition. In this weak moment, Axi realizes that this outing might be Robinson’s last and decides to reveal her love for him. She tells him what her heart feels and expresses her desire to love him for as long as they live. This remarkably moving story is very personal to the past life of James Patterson. It shows how powerful first love can be and how it changes a person’s life forever.

Another excellent novel penned by Raymond is known as ‘Expelled’. It was published by Jimmy Patterson in 2017. The book is also co-authored by James Patterson. Author Raymond has mentioned the main characters in this novel as Sasha Ellis, Theo ‘Will’ Foster, Jude, and Parker. These four are introduced as teens, who become suspects for a viral photo on Twitter and get expelled from the school. Theo Foster used to keep his Twitter account anonymous. But, when someone posted a photo that revealed his true identity and became viral, Theo Foster got expelled. He was deprived of the final grade and prevented from having a good future. After his expulsion, Theo started working at a local mart with the hope of taking his life out of misery.

One day, a miracle happens when a girl named Sasha Ellis approaches Theo. She tells him that she knows his real name and reveals that she was also expelled for a crime that she did not commit. Theo Foster finds Sasha Ellis quite beautiful and develops feelings for her. In order to get Sasha’s attention, Theo decides to team up with her in finding out who framed them and got them expelled. Their list of suspects includes the quarterback, the vice-principal, the hacker, a mean girl, and Theo’s best friend named Jude. In order to uncover the truth, Theo Foster tries to get close to each of these suspects. Sasha and Theo try to find out what secrets all of them are hiding and how to make the main culprits confess their crimes. This book offers an excellent story to read. It has mystery, suspense, romance, and everything to make it an exciting story. The readers felt intrigued from start to finish and kept turning pages as they proceeded with the story.

Raymond has described an excellent high school story revolving around the wrongful framing of the main character and his subsequent proving of innocence with the help of his love interest. Critics and readers liked it very much and gave excellent reviews on various literary platforms. Their reviews and comments helped the book to become even more successful.

   I’m reading some of your work I didn’t realize that you Co wrote Humans Bow Down. It’s not my usual type of book but I loved it, and was hoping for a sequel. Thank you for your work
