Falon Ballard is an American published author and a native of Los Angeles.
Falon has spent her entire life writing stories. Once she had graduated with her degree in the subject of creative writing, she went on a teaching adventure for eight years. Then she went on to start her own business in event planning.
She loves to go on Etsy to track down the latest merchandise from her favorite fandoms. When she is not busy doing that, you can usually find her spending some time in Disneyland with a beer and a pretzel.
Falon is the author of several romantic comedies and is also the co-host of the podcast Happy to Meet Cute. She is married and lives in Los Angeles along with her son and husband.
She really loves writing about love and all things romance stories, whether it’s writing them, reading them, or talking about them with other people. She also loves using exclamation points and is not ashamed to admit the fact. The author also appreciates the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well as reality television as well as drinking wine and taking photos to post on Instagram while also being on X, formerly known as Twitter. She prides herself on her ability to multitask like this.
Lease On Love is the first fictional novel to come out from Falon Ballard. If you love a good romance, then be sure to check out this debut romantic comedy that will have you laughing and swooning as you follow along on one woman’s journey.
When a young lady who has been more lucky before in life is able to turn a mix-up between a roommate app and a dating app into a new opportunity to find love, it’s the perfect witty story that will have you laughing for days.
Sadie Green is tired of getting passed over to get a promotion. It’s been long overdue, but it just isn’t happening. She’s exhausted and knows that she really needs three things in her life pronto. These include a new place where she can live, a stiff drink, and a one night stand.
When just one drink becomes many more, she mixes up a dating app that she has not used in quite some time with an app to find roommates. Just like that, Sadie has accidentally invited herself over to the Brooklyn brownstone owned by Jack Thomas.
She notes that he’s very attractive, but the truth is that she has eyes for his real estate more than she does for the individual personally. Jack has been going through a lot, having to deal with his parents’ death and trying to adjust to a new life entirely.
He’s looked for comfort in the arms of video games and putting on endless movies in the place of friends. Jack has no idea what to make of Sadie, who is extremely wordy. But he does know that he is more than willing to give her the chance to stay in a spare bedroom while she is starting to put her life back together and is getting on her feet again.
The good news is that Sadie does get to move in and is soon enjoying all of the perks of being there. The rent has never been lower there, and she is at last able to go after her side hustle of floral work on a full time basis.
Jack and Sadie have pretty opposite personalities, but once she is there it seems that she was exactly what the place was missing. This might be the deal that they have always been looking for. Can they find that they have not only great roommate chemistry but great romantic partner chemistry as well? Read this book to find out what happens between the two!
