For her undergraduate studies, Todd enrolled at California State University wherein she studied biological sciences. She has pursued postgraduate education since. Among the authors that influenced E. L. Todd, who are, interestingly, all female American writers include: Kristina Renee, M. Leighton, Charlotte Abel, Georgia Cates, and Alyssa Rose Ivy.
E. L. Todd, who has more than one hundred books to her credit, also works as a high school teacher and doubles up as an assistant editor. She has been writing novels since she was a young child; it was not until her literary work started piling up that she got the audacity to showcase it to her bosom friends. And thus the first book in the Forever and Always series, Only for You, saw the light of the day. Todd’s friends have contributed immensely to her literary ambitions and she observes that, the first book in the Soul Saga series and its counterpart in the Forever and Always series would have been unpublished to date sans their input.
All in all, E. L. Todd’s niche is especially fantasy, romance, and literary fiction. To sum it up, Todd opines that she writes primarily to enable her readers indulge into make-believe literary worlds with lovable characters, thereby helping them temporarily forget the unforgiving realities.

Meet protagonists Sean and Scarlet. Their friendship dates back to their college days–over a decade ago. The two are extremely protective of one another. Both have personal problems. To tone down their problematic lives, the start seeing each other often.
In the first book in the serialized Forever and Always series, Only for You, protagonist Sean has just been dumped by his girlfriend Penelope. Scarlet, whose bosom friend is Sean, is chagrined. Realizing how harder Sean would tumble down, Scarlet resolves to provide a soft landing. But Scarlet was not just cushioning him; for she has been secretly in love with him. Sean and Scarlet finally sleep together, and Scarlet starts looking forward to a promising love affair contrary to his imagination. To soothe her conscience, Scarlet irons out her differences with and travels to her New York-based brother wherein she tries to make up for it by getting into an affair with her brother’s closest friend. Will she get over Sean or sink deeper into the mire?
In the second book in Forever and Always series, named Forever and Always, Sean and Scarlet have since reconciled. On the one hand, Scarlet is reluctant to leave her brother behind, hard on the heels of rekindling their brotherly and sisterly love. On the other hand, Sean works in Seattle. Neither of them is ready to relocate. They agree to visit one another each weekend. But when the broke and pregnant Penelope gets back in touch with Sean, things move from bad to worse.
Forever and Always series: Best Books
These are the best three books in the Forever and Always series; they are Only for You, Forever and Always, and Edge of Love. The first two books in the series have already been discussed above. In the context of Edge of Love, it is the third book in the aforementioned series. This book has four editions; the first edition was initially published in November 2013. Hereby, protagonists Sean and Scarlet are delighted with their relationship. They decide to give scant credence to the damnable past lives and, momentarily, everything seems to be in their favor until they decide to travel from Seattle to announce their engagement in Connecticut. Then there is a plethora of problems ranging from unpleasant family secrets, tension, and an unanticipated visitor that throws a wrench into their plans.
Other Book Series You May Like
People who enjoyed reading the Forever and Always series penned by E. L. Todd also enjoyed these suchlike series of books. The first one is the Flawed series and is authored by African American author and geriatrician Lara Henley. The featured protagonists in this trilogy are Misty Scott and Drake. The two characters are not just a boyfriend and girlfriend–they have a child together too. Drake, who is jailed, is holding back a secret that might jeopardize their relationship. Then his brother Sean Mitchell comes to her aid; Sean soon finds himself juggling another affair with an auburn-haired damsel.
The second one is titled the Bombshells and is penned by Nicola Marsh. Jess Jasper is the featured protagonist; this series revolves around a quick succession of steamy romps. Another notable series is called Never Letting Go authored by American author S. Moose. It features protagonists and partners Erin and Connor, and Sophia and Adam who part ways; they discover they still have feelings for one another when chance upon each other.

I just wanted to let you know that I’ve read volumes one through seven of your forever and always series. I have really enjoyed reading that series. I was wondering if there’s any way you could help me figure out how I can get the first volume to the last three I can get the second and the third but not the first one about how Scarlet and Sean started out. These series of books have really kept me interested I could hardly put them down so if you would, please let me know how I can get a copy of the first volume where Sean and Scarlett meet and come together.
