Frank Viola is a blogger, speaker, and writer who is also regarded as a scholar and theologian, given his highly acclaimed and scripturally based prolific works.

He is also a bestselling author and in-demand conference speaker who is committed to sharing the themes of the supremacy of Jesus, the indwelling life of Christ, God’s eternal purpose, and deeper truths about scripture.
Over the years, he has authored at least half a dozen bestselling works and has partnered with the likes of Mary DeMuth, George Barna, and Leonard Sweet.

Frank Viola also runs the “Christ is All podcast,” which is often ranked the second most listened Christian podcast in the United States.

He is also the facilitator of a resource known as the “Deeper Christian Life Network” for persons seeking to deepen their spiritual lives and connect with similar people on that journey.
The “Beyond Evangelical” blog which is another of his ventures is one of the top five Christian blogs across the entire Internet.

He has also written for one of the most-read blogs in the world – “Patheos,” besides speaking at conferences in Canada, North America, Switzerland, Ireland, Brazil Chile, and Holland among many other countries.
Frank has also recorded more than 120 podcast episodes, has published more than 900 articles, and penned more than twenty books.

Viola was born in New Jersey to an Italian-American family in 1964 before his family moved to upstate New York where he spent much of his childhood. As a teenager, he moved to Florida and has never left.
He credits his electrifying and passionate speaking chops to his passion for the Lord and to some extent his Italian roots.

As a sixteen-year-old, he had an encounter that left him thirsty and hungry for Jesus. He began immersing himself in Scripture and it was not long before he was baptized and started to publicly proclaim his faith.
When he was 17, the elders at his church recognized his gift to preach and teach, but he refused to attend seminary or Bible School. He always felt that the Lord wanted him to go to the University of South Florida.
While Frank was in college, he was a member of the “Fellowship of Christian Athletes” which was very strong on campus. He was also one of the founding members of the “Full Gospel Fellowship” alongside several friends.
It was a time when the spirit really moved as the students experienced a lot of people getting deliverance, salvation, and healing.
Following his graduation, he got employment as a public school teacher.

Sometime later, Frank began engaging in debates with witches and atheists online and also writing thought-provoking articles on the church. It was from these debates that he got much of the material for “Reimagining Church” his 2008 book.
As a twenty-three-year-old, he left the institutional church and began having simple meetings with several friends similar to the church of the New Testament.

During one of these meetings, two men visited the church and prophesied that Frank would become a planter of some very unique churches. In 1998, he planted a new church for the most part made up of Christians in their twenties.
Unlike most planters, he left the church alone for half a year modeling his action on what Paul did in the book of Acts. He never took any offerings from the church and earned a living as a school teacher.

In 2005, he published “The Untold Story of the New Testament Church” with Destiny Image. Since then he has penned more than twenty titles integrating vision, theology, devotion, spirituality, narrative, sociology, and history.

Frank Viola’s God’s “Favorite Place on Earth” tells the story of Jesus Christ who came to Earth.

He would face rejection everywhere he went even though he was the creator. According to John, he had come to his own but they would not receive him and hence he never had a place to lay his head.

However, it was not all bad as he would find acceptance in Bethany a little village a few miles from Jerusalem. It was the only place where he was always received with open hands.

This is a retelling of the many visits that Jesus made to Bethany and the message this has for us today. Frank Viola presents a beautifully crafted story from the perspective of Jesus’s friend Lazarus, the brother to Martha and Mary.
It is an incomparable narrative that brings to life the Gospel narratives, even as it addresses the struggle against rejection, doubt, guilt, fear discouragement, and spiritual apathy that many Christians face today.
Written in profoundly moving prose, it is a work that will captivate you with its depth, charm, and beauty.

“The Day I Met Jesus” by Frank Viola is set two millennia ago during the times of Jesus. He came to Earth and lived with people just like you who were imperfect, broken, and sometimes without hope and fear.

The work is a beautifully crafted narrative that follows the life and times of five women from the Gospels who were desperate to find purpose, security, and wholeness.

Similar to most of us, these women had to deal with the worries of tomorrow, the stress of the present, and the regrets of their pasts. Join Mary DeMuth and Frank Viola as they go on a fascinating journey and tell how they met Jesus.
Every narrative is told from the perspective of a particular woman. Nonetheless, each is grounded in the accounts from the Gospels and is faithful to the history of the first century.

Profoundly stirring and elegantly written, it is a work that blends the practical application of spiritual death and unique insights with creative narrative.

If you are looking for a renewal of love, faith, and hope this is a work that will usher you into a unique encounter with the Lord as it makes the Gospels come to life.

“Finding Organic Church” by Frank Viola is an essential guide that offers effective and practical tools for finding vibrant Christian communities.

Inspired by a passion for the body of Christ, the author has penned some of the most celebrated and authoritative works on the growing missional, organic, and home church movements.
In this work, Frank has put together practical keys for a successful and healthy church plant. According to Viola, many congregations struggle to survive due to poor planting rather than bad planning.
He comes up with an essential guide for nourishing and starting organic churches in any culture.

Frank draws from a wealth of experience and Scripture and offers real-world insights, real-world tools, and practical suggestions to ensure churches thrive and not just grow.
Viola also provides detailed insights on apostolic church planting based on ideas from the New Testament.
