Anna & Elsa is a novel series authored by Erica David and published by Random House. The series is a continuation of the adventures of Queen Elsa, Princess Anna Olaf the Snowman and the rest of the cast characters from Frozen, a 2013 Disney animated film.

The series publication began in 2015 after the release of the first two books Memory and Magic and All Hail the Queen.

Few of the series characters you will encounter include:

Princess Anna

Anna is the youngest girl child of Arendelle’s previous monarch, Queen Iduna, and Ruler Agnarr and also the younger beautiful sister of Elsa, the Snow Queen. She is the protagonist of the 2013 Disney animated film, Frozen.

She is a character who is daring than graceful and most cases she acts before she thinks. However, she is the most caring and optimistic person you will ever meet. She longs to connect with her sister Elsa and spark the childhood connection they once shared.

Elsa, the Snow Queen

Elsa is the firstborn girl child of the late rulers King Agnarr and his queen named Iduna. She is the older sister to Ann and also the current leader of Arendelle. She possesses power over snow and ice that which led her to become the Snow Queen.

Approaching Elsa from the outside, she might look regal, poised and reserved. However the reality is that she constantly lives in terror as she struggles with a secret- she was born with the power to create snow and ice. It is a good ability but also a dangerous one.

Olaf is a spellbind snowman and also a major character in the 2013 animated film Frozen. He loves warm hugs, and he is the friendliest snowman on the entire Arendelle. His innocence, and outstanding personality and also uncanny skills to disassemble his body at not so good times eventually lead to some weird moments.

Hans is the antagonist in Frozen Film and a prince of the Southern Isles kingdom. He is the youngest of the 13 children of the rulers of the desolate kingdom. Hans has been a subject of emotional and physical abuses from his brothers because he is the youngest child of the clan.

Arendelle is the Norwegian-inspired home of Queen Elsa and Princess Anna and the kingdom in the 2013 animated Disney film Frozen. The oldest ever known monarchs of Arendelle were Queen Iduna and Ruler Agnarr. Due to the uncontrollable nature of Elsa’s abilities, the castle was shut down for 13 years under the king’s orders. This was done for the safety of Elsa as well as for the sake of her sister Anna.

During the childhood years of Elsa and Anna, their parents perished in a storm at sea.

All Hail the Queen

All Hail the Queen is book one in Anna & Elsa series. It is a storybook and apparently the first chapter of the series that successfully continues the adventures of Queen Elsa and Princess Anna from Disney Frozen. Now that the castle gates are wide open, Elsa and Anna are happy to get the chance to get to know their kingdom finally. Anna is filled with enthusiasm for all the good things she intends to do and the people she is going to meet in Arendelle while Elsa plans on using her magic to help the townspeople.

The storybook kicks off with some time after the occurrence of events of Frozen. People are now getting along pretty well and have even accepted Elsa for whom she truly is. Elsa was studying plans for a new and improved water system for Arendele that required her approval.

Suddenly, Anna bursts in happy to perform the third item on “Anna List of Things to Do in the Town of Arendelle” which was to have a taste of the famous Florian Famous Flangendorfers, considered as the most delicious desert in Arendelle. Elsa at first is hesitant but finally, accepts much to Anna delight. While on their way to the bakery, Anna and Elsa encounter Ingrid, a little girl who skipped towards the two ladies and became timid and shy around Elsa.

The first novel is a good read especially for children between 6-10 years. Both, Anna and Elsa a great friends, and after the castle opens, the two girls are eager to explore and learn more. What you will love most is the fun adventure and the silly sister happenings, which adheres to the characters of the movie.

Here is a short review of the Frozen Movie

Frozen (movie) is a 2013 3D animated film produced by Disney Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The animated film is inspired by The Snow Queen a fairy tale by Hans Christian Anderson and tells a story of a brave princess who sets off an epic journey accompanied by a bumpy Iceman, a naïve snowman, and a loyal pet reindeer to find her alienated sister.

Memory and Magic

Memory and Magic is the second book in Anna and Elsa series; the novel continues the adventures of Queen Elsa and Princess Anna from Frozen. After several years of separation, Anna and Elsa are eventually getting to know each other as sisters. Anna wishes that she remember all the magical moments she had with her sister while they were younger, like skating and making some snowmen even during the middle of summer.

On the other hand, an eager troll claims that he can help to restore the memories that were taken away from Anna by Pabbie. However, Elsa is not so sure about the plan, but maybe it is time to get new memories.

A Warm Welcome

This is the third installment in Anna & Elsa series. In this novel, Olaf has some new troubling news for Elsa. He has rumors of a summer queen with summer magic similar to Elsa superpowers, who can take control of fire and heat. Olaf informs them that the summer queen land is trapped in an eternal summer. While Olaf thinks that it is great, Elsa and Anna, on the other hand, believe that the summer queen might be in deep trouble. Either way, they must plan a journey to summer land.
