Seducing Cinderella
Seducing Cinderella is the first book in the Fighting for Love series by Gina L. Maxwell. We meet Lucie, a physiotherapist who’s been having sex with a Doctor she has worked with for years. She’s a woman with a total lack of self-confidence, but her adult life blends well into the background. Her world comes tumbling when she discovers that the doctor wants to take her best friend on a date.

Reid is a mixed martial arts fighter out of the ring due to an injury. When his physiotherapist leaves to attend to an urgent family matter, he’s assigned to Lucie. Reid is highly doubtful of Lucie’s ability to get him back into shape until he discovers who Lucie is. Lucie is the younger sister of the best friend he has known his entire life. But Reid wants a therapist who will prioritize and get him back in shape within two months. He convinces Lucie that in return for getting him into shape within the shortest time, he would teach her how to seduce a man for her to get the Doctor’s attention.

But Lucie isn’t interested in love because she’s been heartbroken countless times in her previous entanglement. She only wants compatibility in a relationship and strongly believes that she and the doctor will finally have everything straightened up once he sees who she truly is. But the deeper Reid takes Lucie into his seduction course, the more he finds himself falling in love with her.

What he thought would be a professional endeavor turns out to be more complicated and personal as he falls madly in love with Lucie than he’d ever had with any other woman. Then Lucie finds herself attracted to and thinking more about Reid, with her feeling about the doctor slowly dwindling even when she knows that a love affair between her and Reid would never work.

But soon, the two find themselves romancing each other. However, Lucie still has doubts because she strongly believes that for a relationship to survive, there should be compatibility, and love can’t be the basis of a relationship. She’s determined to believe the compatibility idea even when she starts developing strong feeling for Reid than she ever had for the Doctor.

Reid loves her and treats her in a special way more than anyone has ever. He loves her for who she is, but he’s also facing his own personal demons and doesn’t ever believe he would be ever a good man for Lucie.
He has never had a good love relationship and doesn’t believe a relationship with Lucie would survive.

Gina L. Maxwell does a fantastic job in creating characters with self-confidence issues, with Lucie being the character affected the most. The two will have to overcome this issue before they can get the possibility of getting a future together. Are they strong enough to overcome their self-confidence issues? Will they take the risk, or will they give up their only chance of getting together?

The chemistry between Lucie and Reid is way off the charts. With Reid in her company, we see Lucie’s character grow and transform significantly throughout the story. It’s satisfying to see her grow and become comfortable in her own skin and see Reid willing to help her visualize herself in a different light. He teaches her to value herself, making it impossible for her to have eyes for another man.

Seducing Cinderella is a well-woven erotic romance novel with lots of light-hearted moments and likable and relatable characters you can connect with right from the first page. Gina L. Maxwell does a fantastic job in precisely showcasing the MMA and physical therapy worlds. She does a nice job of portraying the hard work that’s truly needed in physical therapy.

Shameless
Shameless is the first book in the Playboys in Love series by Gina L. Maxwell. It’s a perfect story for nasty babes who don’t know how to clear the browser history or fix the kitchen sink. We meet a nasty but sexually represent student named Jane. She’s just trying to get her thesis done and hoping for a better life on the other side. Sometimes it feels impossible to get those last pages written, especially when there’s no one to motivate you.

How can anyone write research on objectification in society when all they have is one sample group? And the sample is only made up of male strippers? Well, it’s challenging times like these when a “handyman” comes in handy. Jane’s best friend sent someone to “help” her take her mind off the unfinished thesis since all work with no play makes Jack a dull boy.

If you’re looking for a steamy hot romance story, then Shameless is a good match. It’s a fast-paced, steamy read featuring two likable characters who’ll immediately sweep you off the feet as they welcome you to spend time with them in their sexual fantasies. It’s a story of a nerd girl who meets a charming stripper, a perfect read for anyone looking for a scorching hot escape.

It’s clear Gina L. Maxwell perfectly understands how to write a romance story. The writing is easy, with enough details to let you know what’s going on and what people look like.

The main characters, Jane and Chance, are likable and cute together. They are compatible together, not only in but also outside the bedroom. Most of the story focuses on Jane and Chance enjoying mind-blowing sex.
