Ginger Scott is a published author.

She is a best selling author that writes mainly romances for young adults and adults and has penned several series. Ginger not only likes romance stories but really enjoys sports too. Sometimes she will combine the two and throw them into her stories. She also doesn’t mind a romance story that includes a hot sports player once in a while.

She has been editing and writing for magazines, blogs, newspapers and more for a long time. In her writing and journalistic career, she has recounted stories about and by actors, scientists, politicians, Olympians, criminals, towns, and more.

When this author is not busy writing, Ginger could possibly be found near a baseball field. She might be watching her child play or she might be cheering on the Arizona Diamondbacks, her favorite team. She resides in the state of Arizona. She is married happily to her college boyfriend and sweetheart. The two of them met at Arizona State University.

Ginger Scott is the creator and author of The Waiting series. The series kicked off in 2013 with the release of the debut novel, which was quickly followed by a second story in this fun romance series that combines love and sports! Hail Mary is the third book in this series.

In Waiting on the Sidelines, readers get to meet Nolan Lennox, a girl who thought that she had everything figured out. She was given the namesake of a legend in baseball and always enjoyed sports. She grew up being a tomboy and always had a closet that was full of the hand me down clothes from her brother. Her whole world for a while was jeans that were cut off and shorts that were more for playing soccer than they were for fashion.

Nolan was used to just going along and being one of the gang. But when she enters high school, she may find out that everything is about to change. That is because she is interested in boys for the first time ever and one in particular. The first guy to ever make her heart beat faster and it ends up with her getting her heart broken.

Nolan also experiences betrayal in the form of an older girl that she once considered a friend of hers and it is all adding up to a strange experience. She has no idea if she had the type of personality that she thought she did. So much of who she perceived herself to be appears now to be something that was real but also fleeting, destined to change or at least not go on unchallenged.
