Glenna Maynard is a USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author famously known for her gritty motorcycle club romance books. She has over sixty published titles, mainly featuring anti-heroes and dark romance as her heart. Glenna was born and spent her childhood in the scenic hills of Eastern Ky, where she lives today. You will find her reading, cooking, scrap-booking, or contemplating a new craft with her kids and husband at home when not writing.
The Black Rebel Riders book series prove that Glenna Maynard is an author unscared of going where her writing takes her. The books in this series are both shocking and, at the same time, intriguing they will pull you into a world you’ve probably never visited, allowing you to interact freely with a bunch of fascinating characters you will long to know more about. These are not the type of books where you will get forever after a happy ending, with the only struggle being staying alive. They are just the opposite of that. Grim, the first book in the series, is a base for all the other books.
Grim is where everything begins, and his tales are scary and tragic. He is not the type of man you will fall in love with in a novel. He is nothing like the other members of his motorcycle club, and at the same time, he is precisely that. Understanding a man with a hard yet good heart is challenging. Grim was once killed and doesn’t feel remorseful for what he did but is genuinely aware that something is missing in his life. What starts between him and a stranger is something he never saw coming due to his strong belief that he was never meant for anything more than the girls in his clubhouse. But he never anticipated that who he calls Red would be the changing point of his life.
Besides Grim, the other character you will encounter in the story is Sarah, the Red’s daughter. She lives through a lot more than any other girl should. Her experiences shed light on what most people go through every time despite the horrors. All in all, you will admire her strength through every experience she undergoes. That doesn’t mean she does live in fear, but she eventually finds a way to survive. Black Rebel Riders MC is not a series for readers who can’t handle heavy content. The author knows how to craft a story that keeps one hooked to the last page. This is a highly recommended book series for anyone who enjoys reading dark, erotic, and rich content.
You Wreck Me is the first book in the Prospect series authored by Glenna Maynard in collaboration with Dawn Martens. This is a tale of twisted characters, the main characters displaying the true meaning of the term dysfunctional.
Harley’s discovery of her first lover, first love, first everything, Carter (Wrecker), doing the same to most of the community, even the married people, was the tipping point. When she traced him and saw him having a sexual encounter with a newlywed woman, she was first in denial. However, when she confronted him, she realized everything she had heard about him was accurate.
Five years later, after leaving, she realizes she is being followed and calls her father, Demon, the head of the Blue Devils’ MC. Similar to the one she left behind, he sends her a guardian. After threatening him that she would shoot “it off” if she saw him again, he was the last man she ever wanted to look at.
The delivery of a female to their safehouse was the purpose of the run, but the girl turned out to be his ex-girlfriend, also the club president’s daughter. Wrecker has patiently anticipated Harlee’s absence for five years. He doesn’t make any distinctions; if anything has a pulse, he nabs it. Despite his affection for Wrecker, Harlee despises her and prefers women and indiscriminate sex.
Due to her father’s devious plans, she is forced to return because he needs to spend more time with his only grandchild and wants her to stop stripping because he has cancer and is running out of time. The president of the MC is the villain’s formidable daughter. Before discovering his infidelity, she and the hero were once much in love. She LOATHES IT for various fascinating reasons that go back. You should pass on this one if you don’t like anguish, violence, cheating, or insanity. It contains everything that will make you angry, disgusted, or violent. Please read at risk because it is not designed for safe readers.
Striker is the fourth book in the Black Rebel Riders series by Glenna Maynard. After having a one-night affair with Baby, Striker Black moved to Chicago with his fiancée and was excluded from Baby’s life. He unintentionally left Baby pregnant. After discussing her predicament, Trouble claimed Baby, and the two started arranging a wedding. Trouble leaped in front of Striker as he was about to be shot, deflected the bullet, and informed Striker that he would be the child’s father. Striker has been kept away from Baby and their son Colt after Baby accused Striker of being responsible for Trouble’s death.
Striker has shattered Baby’s heart more than once. He has repeatedly shown no desire to be the devoted husband and father she deserves. Striker is the only one aware that he is Colt’s father; no one else does. In a sense, this also shields Striker from Grim’s fury. As Baby’s father, Grim is responsible for defending her, punishing Striker for breaking the law and abandoning Baby.
Meanwhile, Striker is beginning to get weary of being incapable of openly claiming Colt, and every day, his heart bleeds a bit more. Striker knows that when he and Baby slept together, and Colt was conceived, he was not prepared to be a father or a husband. But now he wishes to be that husband and father for her and his son.
Baby still loves Striker and knows he can tear it to pieces when she tries to open up to him. She must also prioritize Colt and not only follow her heart and desire. She needs to make wise decisions. Strikers, though, will inevitably make mistakes as men do. All Baby needs to do is hold him accountable, refuse to put up with his antics, and explain what he stands to lose.

He's one of my favourite standalone thriller authors, and you better believe if he is releasing a book, it's going to be our book of the month!
Not A Word is the latest chilling thriller written by Linwood Barcly. A man visits his parents house only to discover them dead. What appears to be a murder-suicide is apparently so much more. And just as the man is taking it all in, he receives a phone call that's going to change everything.
