Author Bianca D’Arc writes the “Grizzly Cove” series of paranormal romance novels. The series began publication in the year 2015, when “All About the Bear” was released.

Grizzly Cove, Washington is a mythical artists’ colony on the coast of Washington State which is populated primarily, almost entirely of shapeshifters, the majority of which, are former military werebears.

The first three stories introduce the conflicts and characters and set the scene in this strange small town. After these first three stories, the series continues with longer stories and books.

Bianca’s “Tales of the Were” series is made up of several different sub-series, which includes the “Grizzly Cove” books.

“All About the Bear” is the first novel in the “Grizzly Cove” series and was released in the year 2015. New people, new town, new shapeshifters?

In the sleepy, tiny town of Grizzly Cove, Washington, all isn’t like it appears. Nell learns all of a sudden that she and her sisters are the only humans in this town of shifters, most of them are bears! The sheriff in Grizzly Cove has got a lot more than just the peace to protect. It will be up to Sheriff Brody to keep Nell cooperative and calm, and in his bed, for about the next fifty years or so. Yeah, that could be enough. But maybe, he will just keep her forever.

Fans of the novel found this to be a fun and lighthearted read. Grizzly Cove is the perfect place to be for people that like sexy shifters.

“Mating Dance” is the second novel in the “Grizzly Cove” series and was released in the year 2015. Tom, who is Grizzly Cove’s sole lawyer is a badass grizzly, too. However he has met his match in Ashley, the one woman he just cannot get out of his mind. She has got a dark secret, which he is the only one who knows.

Ugliness from her past tracks her right to her new home, will Tom be able to protect the woman that he is fast coming believe truly is his mate? Will she allow it? Or is she going to run from him, and the secrets of Grizzly Cove, for good?

“Night Shift” is the third novel in the “Grizzly Cove” series and was released in the year 2015. In a colony of grizzlies, Sheriff’s Deputy Zak is one of the few black bear shifters. He is used to taking the guff that his comrades give him, but it is all in good fun. He has fought alongside these guys for many years now and it is time they all quit roaming around and picked one place to settle down. Grizzly Cove appeared to be just as good a place as any when the idea was proposed.

Zak likes all of the slow-moving police work in this sleepy coastal town. His job takes him into closer proximity to the wonderful Tina, though he finds her to be irresistible. Can it be that he is finally found his mate? When danger shows up at her door, is she going to turn to him, or just run off into the night? Zak is going to do all that he can to make sure she picks him.

“Alpha Bear” is the fourth novel in the “Grizzly Cove” series and was released in the year 2016. A woman of power, a man with a plan, and a battle to the death.

John is the Alpha bear in Grizzly Cove, a town that is built to his own design, and made up mainly of bear shifters. He brought each one of them together, so it is all on him when the community comes under attack.

Ursula is much more than she appears to be, and when her secret is revealed, she is afraid that the shifters are not going to take this well, however John surprises her. He needs her to help combat the evil that targets the town, however there appears to be more to their relationship.

Evil attacks from the ocean, could John afford not to utilize Urse’s skills in order to keep the town (and the people in it) safe? Better still, will John be able to reconcile his inner bear’s demands that she is his mate, with his lifelong dream of leading his people to a new way of living, in a town that is built only for them? Or is he going to need to give up Grizzly Cove in order to hang on to the woman that he loves?

“Saving Grace” is the fifth novel in the “Grizzly Cove” series and was released in the year 2016. Jack Chambers, in his role as Game Warden, is responsible for all the wildlife in and around Grizzly Cove, however he never expected he would find a badly injured mermaid that was washed up on the shore close to his house. He takes her in and helps her convalesce, only to discover the much greater danger being held at bay, right off shore, and how it affects the ocean-going shifter population.

Jack’s immediate problem is the pull that the leviathan still has over the woman that he is quickly coming to believe is his own mate. He must save her, however they also have to work through the issues of a mermaid and a land shifter getting together. Will they be able to make this relationship work? Or will he wind up broken hearted she returns to her watery home?

And who even knew that there were mer people just off shore? This is something that the residents of Grizzly Cove are going to need to figure out, particularly with the leviathan still out there as well, still posing a major threat to all of the creatures of the Light.
