H.D. Carlton
H. D. Carlton grew up in a tiny town in Ohio. She suffers by Mother Nature’s hands who curses the area with all four seasons in the span of just a week.

During the day, she does all kinds of boring adult stuff, but by night, she’s putting her imagination into words while her cat continuously climbs all over her.

She has published a few poems in her time, but now she’s devoted to turning poetry into stories. Stories that feature wicked worlds as well as the worst sort of villains that do not talk about themselves in the third person.

She was introduced to science fiction by a television series called Farscape. It taught her just how diverse and creative science fiction truly is. How the possibilities are endless.

The remake of War of the Worlds also helped shape her perspective of science fiction. The concept, the plot, and the violence all sucked her in, showing her the scarier side of aliens and the impact something like that would have on society.

“Untainted” took a lot more out of her than her first book, “Hollow”. She’d look at her first book and wonder how she ever put any of it together. Carlton was constantly putting pressure on herself that she needed to write “Untainted” faster and better. However her writing process was actually smoother.

With “Hollow”, her writing was just chaotic, without any reason or rhyme to anything, and it made editing and piecing it all together a total nightmare. With “Untainted”, she she plotted and worked things out in her mind better before she actually wrote. “Hollow” was all trial and error, but “Untainted”, she felt as though she had a much better grasp of her writing process.

“Hollow” is the first novel in the “Zero Saga” series and was released in the year 2020. The Zolarian colony’s endangered. Parasite bugs have infected thousands, which turns them into cannibal fiends. The only cure has been hidden underneath Area 51. Ronan, the leader of the Zolarian army, has been tasked with locating it. Earth is the very last place that he wants to be, however his orders are clear: Eradicate all humans and make Earth the Zolarian’s new home.

Zero Alvarado’s life is far from normal. Living under Area 51 ain’t as much fun as it might sound. Until an alien invasion brings devastation to her hatchet door. Zero’s not going to go down without putting up one hell of a fight. After all, she’s only been training for this exact moment her whole life.

Two lives cross, with both battling for their survival. Both are desperate to save their race from going extinct. Zero isn’t going to stop until she brings her foes to their knees. However she first must keep herself from falling for Ronan.

“Untainted” is the second novel in the “Zero Saga” series and was released in the year 2020. Thousands of the Hollows are turning into Untainted soldiers. The human population steadily decreases, and Hollows are haunting the streets and painting them in blood.

Ronan’s one of them. The world falls apart all around Zero Alvarado. Her focus is split into various different directions. He needs to be saved from himself. The people need saving from the Waters. While the Revelance needs to have an advantage over the Zolarians.

A hopeful ally presents itself, and Zero seizes this opportunity. Layna, some renowned scientist, has got the power to give the Revelance the advantage that they so desperately need. The journey to track her down sends Zero into territories outside of the Earth, where battling to the death is the one and only way to gain the attention of this mysterious woman.

If there is one thing that Zero’s learned, it is that friends are able to disguise themselves under some horrifying masks. And so to give the humans an actual chance of winning this war, she has to do what she’s always done in the past. Bite or get bitten.

“Shallow Hill” is the first stand alone novel and was released in the year 2020. Shallow Hill is a place where souls suffer miserable and slow deaths. When River McAllister escaped from Shallow Hill, she left behind her innocence, as well as some of her sanity. Now she is rebuilding her life with her dream guy and life could not be better.

Ryan Fitzgerald is everything that you could want in a man. Rich, attractive, an aspiring attorney, and would do anything to hang onto River. However that isn’t the only thing that is attracting her. It is his attentiveness, and his possessiveness. Maybe not his temper so much. When her relationship takes a dark turn, Mako (Ryan’s estranged brother) is the only one that sees it, knowing exactly what Ryan’s capable of. And it is not the first that he had to be a knight in shining armor.

River came from Shallow Hill, however. She has never needed saving in the past. What Mako does not see is that River is perfectly capable of taking care of herself. The only person that she be scared at all is Ryan.

“Satan’s Affair” is the second stand alone novel and was released in the year 2021. Every Halloween, Satan’s Affair is going to come to you. They travel around the country, offering up thrilling rides, horrifying haunted houses, and the tastiest food.

And with each passing town, Sibby cleanses this world, one execution at a time. She hides within the walls casting her judgment for those that reek of evil, and singing lullabies to their rotting souls. Once you have been selected, there is no escaping from her henchmen, as they cater to her every desire.

You can run and hide, but it just excites Sibby. Come and take a walk through her dollhouse, where your screams will blend and your cute little pleas are just going to go unanswered. However Sibby cannot promise any of its going to be over quickly.

Sibel is such a psychotic, maniacal, and blood thirsty girl, which makes it so odd that you would relate to her and not be at all afraid of her whatsoever.
