John Scalzi is a published author of fiction. This American writer is known for having a unique style of prose and approach to the genre of science fiction. Where so many authors have made their mark before him, this rugged man makes a point to write his own unique art. He professes himself that he is just so tired of autobiographies.

Scalzi is the author of The Human Division series. This engaging series first became available for readers to enjoy in 2013, when it was first published by Tor Books. The first novel in this series is titled The B-Team and the sequel came quickly after, titled Walk the Plank.

The B-Team is the fascinating first novel in the Human Division series. This is the first episode that makes up a saga that is going to blow your socks off and then blow your mind!

Meet Ode Abumwe, one of the main characters in this story. She is part of a team, and the team and she have both become accustomed to the way that things work. She holds the title of Colonial Union Ambassador, and works with her group to try and do what she can in the world of diplomacy. It isn’t that easy to work, but she does what she can to try and get the job done.

Ode knows that there is only so much that she can do as an individual to help fight this battle. She may want to help, but in so many ways, her hands are tied. There is a class system when it comes to the world of diplomats, even a world that is governed by the high and lofty concepts of what it is to be fair. They have all grown so used to getting the short end of the stick that they have never seen any other way to do things.

That is all destined to change one fateful day. When a diplomat that is much more high profile than any of them suddenly goes missing and is nowhere to be found, everything gets a bit strange for a while. They are doing what they can to try and work this mission and then find out that they have been assigned something new.

The mission may prove critical to the future of the Colonial Unions, and she knows her group well. The truth is that after so much boring work, they are all excited to have the real chance to make a difference. They may as well make the most of it. They are all doing what they can to try and pull off this task specifically, but it is going to be a tough one.

That is partially because there is more to this story than first meets the eye. Harry Wilson is the one who finds out that the missing diplomat situation is going to be a tough one for all of them. They have no idea that there are endless secrets that have been hidden along the way. The diplomats may have gone missing on purpose and the reasons why they are gone may be related to the end of humanity as they know themselves.

This could mean that the human race is going to end up in a war that they may not be able to win. Sometimes there are a lot of things that can add up to a big mess, and this is one of them. Can the human race get their act together and can this secret be kept on the down low in order to keep the world moving as it is supposed to be?

Check out this book and you will find out the ending for yourself! Pick up a copy and see why this author is the name that so many are talking about.

Walk The Plank is the second novel in the Human Division series. If you thought that the first story was cool, then be sure to look into what this book is all about and find out the plot and meet the characters for yourself!

The topic of this book is in some way cats. Wild cats are some of the most beautiful animals on the planet, but they are also in danger. They are not only illegal to keep in colonies, but they are not to be harmed in any way. The colonies are often deemed illegal and they also happen to not have any type of authorization most of the time.

New Seattle is the place where these cats can be kept. They are doing their best there to try and save these cats and make a tough situation work. Everything is bound to get more complicated, however, when someone new shows up one day. Can the people learn to trust this stranger or will his arrival mark the beginning of the end for them all?

They do have their doubts about the new man, and he comes with a story about how he did find the colony that was supposed to be so secret. The various people that run this colony don’t know what to do when it comes to him. Should they believe what he is saying or should they trust their own senses and go with their gut feelings instead?

What is going to happen, no one can say. The stranger himself even does not know. But when they find out how he arrived at their colony, they may just find that they are willing to embrace him with open arms. Full of shocks and surprises, this is the type of novel that you pick up and don’t want to put down for a long time.

Set in a world that will be all too familiar to fans of this author, Scalzi has put together an interesting look at the world through the lens of science fiction. If that sounds interesting to you, then by all means check this novel out!
