I T Lucas is a paranormal romance writer best known for The Children of The Gods series. Lucas met the love of her life in high school, and the two have managed to run businesses and raise four boys together. Dark Stranger Revealed is the second book in The Children of the Gods series. In this book, Syssi and Kian start a relationship that is hot, addictive, and nothing like they have ever experienced before. Kian still doesn’t believe that Syssi could be carrying the dormant gene, but he doesn’t care anymore. All he is sure of is that he will protect Syssi with his life. Syssi has become an essential part of Kian’s life, and he would do anything to keep things as they are. To ensure that Syssi is safe, Kian has an army of bodyguards surrounding her at all times.

As time progresses, Syssi starts to get uneasy mostly because she cannot figure out what operation Kian is involved in. The explanation that religious fanatics are after her doesn’t make much sense either. Syssi fears that the man she loves is engaged in illegal activities. However, the sexy times Syssi enjoys with Kian leaves her powerless to his charm. Amanda will introduce the second dormant, Michael, to the immortals. Michael’s interactions with the group will leave you in stitches, and it is incredible what this man and Syssi mean for Kian’s clan. Will Kian finally tell Syssi the truth about his true identity? You will have to read this book to the end to find out.

This book allows you to interact once again with the lovely cast. It is fun seeing Kian and Syssi fall deeper in love, and you can only hope that their relationship grows to something even more serious in the future. The sexy scenes do get a bit steamy, but the chemistry between the two main characters is undeniable. As their love story develops, the author will take you deep in the world of immortals where war is the norm, and one clan is determined to see the other perish. Will Kian get to test the dominant gene in Syssi? What is it about this girl that makes her so attractive to Kian?
Dark Stranger Revealed is an action-packed story characterized by intriguing characters, passion, and a tension that builds from the first page. The world-building is outstanding, and it is impressive how the author merges law, medicine, and technology to explain the world of the immortals. If you like stories with immortal characters, a solid plot and loads of sexy scenes, you will love this book. In the author’s characteristic fashion, the story is told in the third person, and the multiple points of views give it a lot of depth.

   This is my second time around, after reading them when they were first published and they are just as good again.
