Timothy Ellis is an Australian published author of fiction.

Born December 16, 1959, Timothy is known for writing books in the genres of science fiction, fantasy, game lit and more. He resides in Queensland, Australia on the beautiful Gold Coast. There he admits that he is constantly doing battle with his own cat to determine who will get to occupy the coveted desk chair.

There he reports that guard duty is conducted by the Daleks, and he also makes sure that he has his own personal sonic screwdriver ready. He stashes it safely away next to his wand and his lightsaber. Ellis is looking forward to the telltale sound of the famed Tardis appearing in his home one day.

The author has a lot of his life being immersed in the worlds of fantasy and science fiction, having watched and read the genre in many shows, movies, games, and novels. Timothy has written Egosoft X Universe series game guides beginning in 2004, and composed two different X3 Handbook versions. He’s designed major and mini mods for many games as well.

He was not always a full time writer, although he is now! Timothy also makes time to do helper and spiritual healer work on the side. He has worn many hats before moving to writing full time, including being a systems analyst, a computer programmer, an antique dealer, a farm worker, a retail chain operations manager, and the owner of his own retail store.

Timothy chose to pursue the spiritual world upon leaving business and corporate life behind and is currently a master of Feng Shui. He has also been composing articles about spirituality since 2006 and communicating with others in forums about spirituality and Facebook groups. He has penned several novels centered around healing and spirituality, such as Personal Healing Using Basic Meditation, a book about feng shui, another on having a ‘John of God Brazil’ experience, and an eight-book series about accessing the wisdom of the ages.

His first novel came out in 2015 and is titled Hero at Large. It is the first in the Hunter Legacy series and world. The book and the series combined the author’s passion for spirituality, the genre of space, and of course cats. The universe has now expanded to several series and even covers two different galaxies and over three thousand years in the process. He likes to use realistic to life writing and include things in his stories that would be part of real life, such as eating food.

Timothy Ellis is the creator and author of the Imperium Spacemage series of fictional novels. The series first began in 2020 with the publication of the debut novel, titled Midshipman Spacemage. The second novel would soon follow, titled Ensign Spacemage, with more arriving after. Check out this science fiction series for yourself and see what you think!

Midshipman Spacemage is the first novel in the Imperium Spacemage series of novels, written by Timothy Ellis. The main character of the Spacemage has returned and the adventure is about to begin.

Thorn first divided his people up into six different societies and spread them all across the galaxy eighty years ago. The entire time since that moment, he has understood that a shift in the timeline was soon coming. When the shift arrived, he would need to step up and play a specific role, and he would be ready. So are his world’s mages and Bud, his great-great nephew.

Bud has always known that his relative was a legend, so never being in the spotlight and living in the shadows was kind of what he expected. He knows that when it comes to the timeline shift, he’s just supposed to be playing a minor role. Little does he know that magic and Kali have their own agendas. Meanwhile, Thorn has aged and with the people relying on him for everything and his tiring of this fact, he also has his own agenda.

The shift is close and the Imperium comes, as does a war conducted with the Trixone. The Imperium is desperately looking for bodies to join up and to recruit some more numbers. Most of all they have a need for mages. Bud thinks that he would be a good volunteer, but doesn’t know whether combining a line mage with actual advanced technology is a smart idea or not. But when Bud joins up with a hand-selected team courtesy of Admiral Jane, will he find that his entire life changes when he becomes Midshipman Spacemage? Read this debut novel to find out!

Ensign Spacemage is the second novel in the Imperium Spacemage series by Timothy Ellis. If you loved all of the science fiction-influenced events of the first story, check out all of the adventure in the sequel!

Main character Bud has formed a bond with his team, and they’re a squadron now that would do anything for each other. A navy Ensign is also a fighters Pilot Officer, and both are entry level ranks for officers and as such are only occasionally paid any mind. An Ensign-composed squadron is even a contradiction. That’s what the newly-joined Imperium members see it as, all pilots with plenty of experience. However, is the team too absorbed in Eagle Wing to pick up on subtle changes that are happening?

Everyone knows that using magic in war will change things. When one side has the advantage, the other switches it up to adapt. When the first Excalibur squadron gets ready for battle, Bud has to get busy leading his squadron so that they can adjust to what the Trixone response is and be victorious.

However, is the real enemy the one they’re even fighting? Does magic change a little too much when it comes to war? Bud is caught between the philosophies of the old and new even as the military is growing. Can an adjustment to training captains pay off? Or should they turn to magic to win? Bud must become Ensign Spacemage to find out. Read this book and catch every second of the action!
