An American author of a number of different romance novels, the writer J.A. Huss has become a strong and versatile voice over the years. Not just limiting herself to one genre as well, she’s also managed to create a variety of different science-fiction books as well. Clear and confident, she is an articulate and extremely intelligent writer who knows her brand and her audience, something which her many readers have come to appreciate over the years.
Early and Personal Life
Born and raised in America, she would harness her passion for the written word from an early age, always reading and writing. With a clear love of literature and English, she would constantly be working on new material, as well as seeking inspiration for new ideas. Taking experiences from her life growing up, she would put everything back into her work, creating a more honest and relatable approach to her novels.
Continuing this throughout her education, as well as her life, she would manage to build upon this giving her the tools that she needed. Refining and honing her voice as a writer, she was able to establish herself as one of the foremost leading figures in her field. With dedication and talent, she came to realise who she was as a writer, allowing her to speak on a level that resonated with her readers more honestly.
Initially planning on becoming a veterinarian, she received a BA undergraduate degree in equine science. This is something which she still cherishes to this day, as she continues to harbor an interest in wildlife and the care of animals. She then followed this up with a master’s degree which she gained in Forensic Toxicology, whereby she studied hog farms throughout the state of Colorado.
Still writing to this very day, she continues to put out work and novels at a regular and ever consistent pace. Also writing under the title of ‘Simple Schooling’ she has written a number of home-school science textbooks as well. With a lot more to come planned on the horizon, she will continue writing on into the foreseeable future for many years to come.
Writing Career
Bringing out her debut novel back in 2012, she has come a long way in a relatively short amount of time. Releasing the title ‘Clutch’ she made her way onto the scene with the first in her series of ‘I Am Just Junco’ novels. This paved the way for a lot of her other series to follow, whilst also establishing her style and her tone in the process.
Gaining awards and accolades over the course of her career as well, she has not only been successful with the public, but critics as well. A bestselling author, she is famous worldwide, with readers from all across the globe reading and appreciating her work. Getting good reviews for her many novels, she is a versatile and highly gifted author, knowing her audience and what they’re looking for.
A highly vocal spokesperson for her craft too, she is always willing to communicate with her fans, whether it’s online or off. With a strong social-media presence she always keeps in touch with them, ensuring that they can always provide feedback and appreciation for her novels. Imparting what she knows about her craft as well, she is always willing to pass on any assistance required to up-and-coming writers as well.
Having a whole host of book series she has managed to fit her ideas into a number of different narrative arcs and styles. Whilst she has some stand-alone titles as well, she uses a lot of her franchises to follow general themes, allowing them to better reach her audience. Some of them also have recurring characters and stories as well, something which ensures that her readers return time and time again.
Continuing to work to this present day, she lives on a small farm in Colorado which she also runs whilst writing full-time. Taking care of the animals there, such as her two donkeys, dogs and birds, she also has a lot of time to think up new and exciting ideas, largely due to it being so remote. As her writing career carries on, she doesn’t show signs of stopping anytime soon, with her career growing from strength-to-strength.
Sexy
Brought out in 2015 through the ‘Science Future Press’ publishing label, this was to be a stand-alone novel from J.A. Huss. Not being a part of any series it manages to showcase her talents in a self-contained novel that’s not a part of any arcing narrative. That’s not to say that it doesn’t have anything there for the long time fans, though, as it lives up to their expectations, giving them more of what they’ve now come to expect from her as an author.
Featuring Fletcher Novack as it’s male love interest, it sees him as a part of the ‘Mountain Man’ show, as he works as a popular entertainer. Then there’s Tiffy Preston who is both rich and extremely successful in her work, but she doesn’t have much luck with men. With their personalities clashing against one another’s at first they soon quickly discover that there’s an attraction there, an attraction they try to deny themselves. Will they overcome their differences? Can they ever become an item? What will happen when they find each other sexy?
Profile
Released through the ‘Science Future Press’ publishing house once again, this makes up the fifth title in the ongoing ‘Social Media’ series of novels. Coming out in 2014 this time, though, this was first published on the 14th of October, as it followed on directly from the previous novels. Set around the theme of ‘social media’, the story this time features one Grace and Vaughn as they come together over the course of the novel.
Leading the story, Grace has a lot to deal with, especially when she meets one Vaughn Asher, as she’s haunted by her past. Undeterred by this Vaughn proceeds to pursue her, despite her finding it difficult to trust once again, something which they both must overcome together. Looking to save her, he she has fought all her life, and it’s time to stand-up for herself, something which he will help her with. Will she overcome her past? Can they come together? What will become of their profile?
