Jamie Wesley is a bestselling romance author that is best known for the “One-on-One” series of novels. When she went to college at the Austin-based Univerity of Texas, she got a sports management master.
Growing up, what she always loved was sports and it is no surprise that she spends too much time supporting pro sports teams in Dallas her hometown, and also the several teams from her alma maters.
Wesley published her debut novel “Tell Me Something Good” in 2014 and the novel achieved a lot of commercial success.

The work convinced her that she had it in her to become an author. She now has more than half a dozen works to her name including the 2022 blockbuster title “Fake It Till You Bake It.”
When she is not writing her novels, she can often be found following news about popular culture, shopping, and visiting Disney World.

While it was only until Jamie Wesley was in her preteens that she got into loving and reading romance, she had always been quite the reader.

As a third grader, her teacher had asked if she had a library card and she answered in the negative. That very evening, she went home and asked her mother to take her to the library to get one.
It was from this that her love affair with reading began and she would become a voracious reader. She began reading with “The Baby-sitters Club” and never stopped reading.
A few years after her teacher encouraged her to get a library card, she came across the romance novel on her mother’s nightstand.

Since she was a voracious reader, she used to read everything and anything and she could not believe her luck in finding the novel which lay unread by her mother.
She would become hooked on romance from then on and has never stopped reading and writing in the genre.

However, Jamie Wesley believes that she was introduced to some teeny tiny bits of romance from being exposed to stories such as “Adventures in Babysitting” and “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.”

Even though Jamie Wesley has now achieved a lot of success, she was by no means an overnight success.
Following her graduation in 2002, she embarked on a quest to find a job and during this time she realized that she loves reading romances but that she also needed to try her hand at writing one.

Writing was something that she always loved doing and she was always good in English that at some point she considered pursuing a career as a journalist. She stumbled upon an idea for a story but when she started writing she got stuck only to be given a job.
It would take seven years before she finished it but publishing proved a tough and frustrating ask. While she was waiting for a breakthrough she penned more stories as she was convinced that her writing was getting better.

It was in 2012 that she got confirmation when she made the final shortlist of the Golden Heart Contest by the RWA. She imagined things would be easier only to get rejection after rejection but she refused to give up as she continued improving her writing.
She would eventually get “Tell Me Something Good” published by Entangled Publishing in 2014. Wesley now has more than nine works to her name that include contributions to series by other authors, her own series, and several single-standing novels.

Jamie Wesley’s novel “Tell Me Something Good” is the story of the battle of two radio show hosts battling for supremacy. Plagued by restlessness, Tate Grayson made the decision to sell his multimillion-dollar company and instead make use of his love for sports to get into talk shows on the radio.

He believes love and life are too short to be taken too seriously and loves to rub this fact into the face of his cohost Noelle Butler who he thinks is often too uptight.

Following the death of her parents which had left her feeling guilty, she had vowed to live a focused and controlled life. She had become a psychologist channeling her need for connection via the radio show.
However, she is determined to beat down the overprivileged sportscaster when he says that men should never get married. The two have a heated argument on air which becomes a huge hit that the director forces them to work together on a show for a fortnight despite their objections.

While they cannot stand each other there is some sizzling attraction in every interaction they have. But if they are unable to use their show to recover the radio station from the brink, they might just lose everything and not just their jobs.

“Slamdunked By Love” by Jamie Wesley is the story of Caitlin Monroe, a woman that is determined to face her past. Several years back, her father had abandoned her mother to go play in the NBA while she was left all alone and pregnant.
He has now become a well-known and sought-after coach and Caitlin cannot wait to take down the so-called family man. However, her car dies while she is heading to the team gala and she is rescued by the new and sexy star player who plays for her father.
All Brady wants is to banish the past and work hard to win the NBA championship for his new tea. However, he gets some unwanted attention that threatens to destroy his career.

His coach is not too happy that he just got a new girlfriend in the gorgeous woman that he had rescued from the roadside. He would prefer that he would focus on playing so that they can win the much-coveted championship.

Things are complicated even further by the fact that Caitlin balks when he learns that his career may be on the line because of her. Still, he thinks he could be the perfect way of getting the dirt on her father that she needs. However, love sometimes has other ideas.

Jamie Wesley’s work “The Deal with Love” is the story of Christian Monroe, a fiery filmmaker. He just ran into the frustrating and fiery Elise Templeton and the two proceed to have one of the most memorable one-night stands of their lives.
However, things turn very interesting when Christian is hired to make a publicity film about his one-night stand. Suddenly, they find themselves in each other’s vicinity the entire day for weeks on end which just makes things hotter.

They have nothing in common outside the bedroom as all Elise wants is to become the first female general manager in the championship while Christina believes being a workaholic is a recipe for disaster.

The more Elise bares her deepest fears and disease to Christian which is something she has never done with anyone, the more Christian starts wondering how much longer he can keep his hands to himself when she is in his presence.
