Jan Moran
Jan Moran was born in Austin, Texas and is a USA Today bestselling author of heartfelt women’s fiction series, twentieth century historical novels, and family sagas. She dreams up her popular and contemporary beach books, which have been translated into various languages, on the sunny shores in Southern California, not too far from where she lives.

She sailed on Semester at Sea, studied writing at the UCLA Writers Program, and graduated from Harvard Business School and the University of Texas.

She has been an avid traveler throughout her whole life, so readers will find her books infused with authentic locales and things that she loves to research, such as: wine, food, and wine to fashion, history, and other things. As a native of Texas that lived on the east coast and worked in places such as Canada, Paris, and Hong Kong, she brings a wealth of experience to each book that she writes.

Jan pens emotionally rich and stylish books. Just pour yourself a glass of wine or a cup of tea, open one of her books, and you will find yourself being transported away with some characters that you will quickly be rooting for as your friends.

If she gets blocked on a story, she just takes a walk out on the beach or takes a long bath to get it sorted out.

Jan’s debut novel, called “Scent of Triumph”, was released in the year 2012. She writes the “Coral Cottage at Summer Beach” series, the “Summer Beach” series, and the “Love, California” series.

While she opens up the yellowed, fifties letters that are postmarked Italy, she finds relics from her great-aunt’s hidden past, which includes an intriguing necklace while Audrey Hepburn herself gave to her during the filming of the movie.

The two, aching for a fresh start and an opportunity to resolve some unfinished tale, go off on a journey to the sun-dappled shores in Lake Como, Italy. This is sure to illuminate secrets from a bygone era and offer them both second chances. Assuming they’re each bold enough to seize them.
