Jane Godman is an award-winning novelist who publishes steamy historical romances for Samhain Publishing, thrillers for Harlequin Romantic Suspense, and paranormal romances for Harlequin Nocturne.
She was the finalist for Daphne Maurier Award, a National Readers’ Choice, and won the Romantic Novelists’ Award in 2019.

The author was born in Scotland but during her childhood, she lived in many countries across the world. She has lived in diverse places including England, Germany, South Africa, Malta, and Wales.
While she still has a wanderlust, she now prefers to head to a European city full of history or sometimes just head to a warm beach in Spain.

When she is not writing her fiction works, she can be found spending time with family, cooking, reading, and enjoying the antics of Vera and Gravy her two dogs.

Godman has been writing for as long as she can remember when she was still a teenager and living in South Africa, she discovered Kathleen E Woodiwiss alongside her best friend.
The two teenagers then aged only thirteen then used to spend most of their evenings writing stories imitating “The Wolf and the Dove.”

In fact, her friend had kept one of the manuscripts they had written together and then gave it to her as a birthday present.

She is still very proud of the medieval romance manuscript that she penned in felt tip pen as it was what pushed her to start submitting the manu manuscripts she had penned to publishers.
“The Rebel’s Promise” her first book was published in 2013 under Front Porch Romance while “Legacy of Darkness,” her first Harlequin book was published in 2014.

While she has achieved a lot of success, she is not yet s fill time author and still works a day job teaching primary school which is a job she loves.

Nonetheless, she likes to write her novels any time she can get and never switches off from writing, even when she is driving to and from work, shopping at the supermarket, or just lounging at home.

What makes Jane Godman’s achievements even more impressive is that she did it while battling a serious medical condition.

In 2015, she was on a high since she had just been signed to Mills and Boon and also found out that she was going to be a first-time grandmother. She was feeling that it was her year despite the excruciating migraines she had to endure.
When she went to the hospital for her annual checkup, she was advised to see an oncologist. Just a few weeks after signing with Harlequin, she learned that she had a brain tumor but despite the uncertainty, she clung to her writing.
She was lucky that her tumor was slow growing and low grade and since she was diagnosed, she has become a prolific author with more than fifteen titles to her name in the SMP Romance and the Mills and Boon romance lines.
She has achieved all this despite the tinnitus, vertigo, and pain she has to endure as she finds that writing is her therapy.

“Ice Wolf” by Jane Godman is a novel that follows Elliot Wilder, an Arctic wolf who is still impacted by events that happened more than four centuries ago. He is a member of a seven-man Arctic Brotherhood who was charged with protecting werewolves.
Four centuries ago, he alongside several of his Brotherhood was taken hostage and then tortured by Siberian wolves. When their leader had almost been murdered, Elliot always felt a sense of guilt for not protecting him.

He would transform into a lone wolf and move to Alaska where he found work as a college professor. He now rarely interacts with his colleagues, does not socialize, and has no friends.

But things change for him when Jenny Piper starts speaking to him and changes his life. However, his life is soon complicated even further when the pack leader of the Siberian wolves makes a reappearance.

Jenny and Elliot embark on a wild adventure to try to foil the schemes of the Siberian wolf. But it is not all fun and games as they find themselves in mythical realms, where they are exposed to double-dealing, double-crossing, and life-threatening danger.

“Shadow Wolf” is a brilliant sequel that sees the Arctic Brotherhood face off against a legendary werewolf hunter and shifter. Samson Lee is a member of the Brotherhood whose mate was killed a few centuries ago and he is now on the search for another.
A few years earlier, he kissed a woman who turned out to be a member of one of his brothers and the temptation was just too much.

The member has since left the brotherhood but has called Sam asking for help as his daughter has gone missing under very mysterious circumstances.
Samson will do everything in his power to find her and learn all he can about some Arcit werewolves that have gone rogue.

When he learns that she is with their leader, he manages to convince her to work undercover with him to discover the ultimate goal of the rogue Arctic gang.
The members of the Brotherhood have to collaborate and apply their skills, and knowledge in the quest to defeat a common enemy.

It makes for a fast-paced narrative full of twists and turns that will surely have you on the edge of your seat from the first page to the last.

Dan Lowell of the Brotherhood of the Midnight Sun is flabbergasted to learn that the mysterious woman he slept with is Odessa Santin. He is supposed to confront her since he thinks she is responsible for the poisoning of the Arctic.

But they have incredible passion which is only paralleled by their dark animosity over the allegations. Lowell soon learns that someone is actively framing Odessa and in doing so, reignites the age-old hostility between the Siberian and Arctic packs.
For the first time, the packs agree to unite against a common enemy and put aside their differences. Working together, Odessa and Lowell start realizing how much they feel for each other.
