Writing Career

Starting out back in 2017, he would begin his literary career with the picture book ‘Whobert Whoever, Owl Detective,’ and this would be aimed at younger readers. He would publish another picture book in 2020 titled ‘Porcupine Cupid’ and both of these would be illustrated, one by Jess Pauwels, and the other by Lori Richmond. These would both allow him to make a name for himself, creating a style and a brand that was entirely unique to him.

In 2021 he would go on to create his ‘Mermicorn Island’ series of novels, starting with the book ‘Search for the Sparkle.’ He would then go on to release a follow up that same year titled ‘Narwhal Adventure’ along with two other titles as well. That year he’d also publish the Young Adult title ‘Jay’s Gay Agenda,’ which would begin a series of the same name, seeing him become the successful author he is today.

Too Many Dolphins!

My 9 year old granddaughter is on the spectrum. Charlotte did not talk until 3 1/2 years old. Her love of reading has been ignited by the Mermicorn Island Series and we can’t thank you enough. You have provided the key to her love of reading which in turn opens the door to the world for her. Hope you realize the wonderful gift you have given. Only sorry your books are difficult to access in Oz – your first one turned up at a Book Fair. We have accessed the rest of the series through Amazon but they won’t arrive until November. Charlotte says she particularly loves your writing because there is nothing scary (autistic kids are especially empathic to others pain and terror) Two queries please: Can you please advise chronological order of your books in terms of child development readiness? and how come Sudipta Bardhan titles are so similar to yours?
