Jay Allan is one of the famous authors of America who has written a number of successful novels based on the science fiction and fantasy genre. He is particularly famous for writing down the Crimson Worlds series. Allan says that he got the inspiration for writing fantasy and science fiction novels by the novels that he has been reading from a very long time. He says that he has a very eclectic and varied taste in the types of novels that he reads, but mostly likes epic fantasy and military science fiction novels as his favorites. Throughout his growing years, author Allan has written a number of science fiction novels based on the military themes as well as other fantasy novels. He says that he is particularly very fond of backstory, action, and complex characters. Author Allan believes that the heart of fantasy and science fiction novels mainly lies in the art of word building and says that he has always been drawn towards the same thing right from his childhood days as a reader. He also says that he has been an investor and then a nonfiction writer, and he has been doing this for a very long time.

Recently, he has shifted his focus towards writing fiction novels. Whenever author Allan is not busy with his writing works or developing the characters of his successful novels, he is often seen traveling, hiking, running, and reading. He always takes care that he listens to the reviews of his readers about the positive and negatives of his novels. Author Allan also likes to answer to the queries and doubts of his fans and readers. He never forgets to interact with his followers because he believes that a writer stops growing in his art of writing if he stops listening to his fans and readers. As for the success of the most of his novels, author Allan considers himself to be lucky enough that he has been able to write down those stories in his novels, which impressed the readers all over the world and helped him to make a name for himself among the prominent authors. Besides writing the novels of the Crimson Worlds series, author Allan also writes a few other successful novel series like the Portal Wars series, the Far Star Trilogy series, and the Crimson Worlds Refugees series.

The Crimson Worlds novel series written by author Jay Allan consists of a total of 9 books published between the years 2012 and 2014. All the novels of this series are set in a fictional world of the future years. The first novel of the Crimson Worlds series was published under the title ‘Marines’. It was released by the System 7 publishing house in the year 2012. The plot of this novel is set in the 23rd century and revolves around the happenings in the life of the central character named Erik Cain. In the opening sequence of the plot of the novel, it is depicted that Erik Cain agrees to join the marines in order to get away from a death row. By doing so, he was made to sign a simple deal, get enlisted to fight with the marine force in the space in order to get pardoned from all the crimes. During the beginning of the 23rd century, the assault troops used to take part in the ongoing wars by wearing all the modern AI-assisted and nuclear power provided armors. But, it was still men and their blood under those high-tech armors that used to win the battle.

Over the course of the novel, Erik get involved in a number fights along with his comrades from one brutal campaign to the other in order to win the desperately increasing war. They used to fight against the resource rich colonies of the world which seemed to have become very vital for improving the economic condition of the despotic and exhausted Superpowers on the Earth. After fighting in a number of wars, Erik Cain rises above in the ranks and finally gets the chance to find a home for himself. At first, he lives with the marines along with whom he used to fight in the battles, and then among the men and women of the colonies. These men and women seemed to have dared to give away everything that they had in order to build a new and a better society on the frontier. With the set up of the new society, the men and women from the colonies try to preserve their long lost rights and freedoms. Soon in the middle of the fights, deaths and sacrifices, Erik Cain begins to wonder whether he is fighting the right war for the right people? He also begins to think about the most important question as to who the real enemy was?

The second novel of the Crimson Worlds series written by author Jay Allan was published by the System 7 publishing house in the year 2012. It was titled ‘The Cost of Victory’ and featured the main character, Erik Cain from the first novel of the series who has risen to the rank of Colonel. In the opening sequence of the plot of the novel, it is shown that the Third Frontier War is very near and the space worlds occupied by the humans have started to burn. The war is fought with the help of massive fleets and long war ships, which exchange nuclear barrages. The Western Alliance, which was battered earlier in the war, seems to be resurgent now. It is lead by the brilliant and brave Admiral Garret, who comes out as victorious in every battle. Admiral Garret is helped by Colonel Erik Cain on the ground who takes his troops into combat once again and seeks the final battle. The despotic Superpowers seem to be employing their secret intelligence teams in the background of the war. The intelligence agencies try to plot different schemes with the help of their soldiers, treating them as mere pawns in the great battle of controlling the space worlds. The final battle seems to be fought on the sands of one of the backwater worlds. As the prize for winning the battle, the winner will be given the key to the hidden secret that was kept away from everyone for many centuries.

When will the next Blood on the Stars novel be out? I’m a real fan of your stories.

I see four distinct Crimson Worlds series. Do any of the other series occur in the same world system?
