Jay Nadal
Jay Nadal has always had a strong passion for crime series, whodunnits, and books in general. The more that he immersed himself in it, the stronger his fascination grew.

In his spare time, he can be found in the gym, taking walks in the forest, reading, binge watching something on Netflix.

He’s also an avid people watcher, he just loves watching people, their mannerisms, and their way of expressing their thoughts. He could spend hours doing it. He finds it funny since watching people often gives him insights and inspiration for describing human interaction in his books.

“Time to Die” is the first novel in the “DI Scott Baker” series and was released in 2016. They believed they were done with the past, however it’s not done with them. This local criminal is killed savagely, and then another one. While the body count grows, DI Scott Baker and his team get caught in this race against time while they hunt for a serial murderer who’s both deeply disturbed and methodical.

Their investigation quickly reveals that all of the victims are connected to this horrible crime that occurred years back. Somebody’s looking to get payback, and they will not quit until everybody involved is dead, having been executed in the most brutal of ways.

Scott realizes that he is sitting on a time bomb, since he’s under relentless pressure from this mysterious assassin, Brighton’s criminal underworld threatens to blow up, bringing chaos to the city’s streets.

While the murders continue to get more savage, can Scott possibly find this killer before anybody else meets their horrific death?

“The Stolen Girls” is the second novel in the “DI Scott Baker” series and was released in 2016. This girl’s body washes up onto the beach. She needed to be silenced. However what secrets could she have taken with her to her watery grave? Secrets that were so dark that she had to be eliminated.

DI Baker and his team get thrown head first into their toughest case yet. What could this girl have known that led to her slow, violent, and painful death? While digging deeper, this evidence emerges about an organized trafficking and teen prostitution ring, where there are girls being used as commodities, with their childhoods being erased and their futures are uncertain.

The sudden death of a devoted wife and loving mom complicates this case. Could there be a connection or is this just a tragic random murder? The investigation rocks this team to their core. Emotions quickly run high while they uncover a sick, dark, and twisted web of human depravity which causes Scott to question the very notion of justice. He faces his own demons while the case stirs some deep-seated grief which he fights hard to contain. Old memories are racing to the surface making him face his tough past and look ahead to the future.

It’s now a race against the clock, can he save these girls from an unknown future of human slavery that offers a single outcome: their eventual deaths.

“The Lies They Told” is the first novel in the “DI Karen Heath” series and was released in 2019. If you thought that you got away with it, then think again.

However with her Met police superiors watching every move that she makes, and with a few hoping she will fail, she cannot afford to make mistakes, no matter where this investigation takes her.

Another vengeful murder comes to light, it becomes obvious that there is something much more sinister going on here. Karen finds she’s racing against time to track down this murderer that is dangerous, bold, and unrelenting.
