Every case starts with a piece of evidence or a crime scene being discovered. In this case, a desolate part of the coastline plays host to a human bone being discovered. It is then that a homicide detective and a scientist are assigned to this case. They have no idea that they may be risking quite a bit as they team up to try and track down what is believed to be a serial killer.

When it comes to this case, Trooper Leigh Abbott knows that she wants to use it to prove to others that she’s good at her job. She wants to show herself but she also wants to prove it to the men that work with her in the department. Leigh now has gotten put onto a tough case, where the only piece of evidence in the entire case is a bone.

Leigh’s got to find out who the victim is and try to track down a killer. To do that, she has to team up with Matt Lowell, a forensic anthropologist. Matt is at first reluctant to team up and refuses the offer at first, making the case tougher than it has to be before it’s even begun. However, he eventually agrees to work with her on the case.

Leigh and Matt both have their share of training and skills to bring to the case. However, their partnership isn’t super strong right off the bat. Then evidence starts to lead them on a trail, which takes them to a full burial ground containing countless victims that have not been identified. The two are shocked to find a fresh body there as well.

The amount of bodies in this case is quickly piling up and they don’t know what else to do but to try and keep working the case. The two of them are tasked with putting the pieces together of what appears to be years of killing. Now they know for sure that they are after a serial killer.

What Leigh and Matt aren’t prepared for is to find themselves the focus of a serial killer. Now that they are both targets, they have to find this murderer before he or she finds them. Can they avoid becoming the next victims of a serial killer by solving the case? Or will the killer get to them first? Find out by reading the first book in this series!

No One Sees Me ‘Til I Fall is the exciting second novel in the Abbott and Lowell Forensic Mystery series. The events of the first novel saw the pair teaming up for the first time to try and take down a serial killer. Now the two are back for more with yet another case.

When a woman is found dead, it’s clear that it was murder. But when it’s apparent that she has an erased identity, only law enforcement and scientific staff pairing up together will help to find out who did it.

This means that Leigh Abbott, a trooper with the Massachusetts State Police, will be working with Matt Lowell, a forensic anthropologist. The pair are tasked with another case and must find out what happened to the young woman found dead and who did it.

It seems like a fairly obvious case, but things get even more disturbing and complicated when damage to the victim’s bones proves that she’s been through a past of abuse. Whether that was due to the killer or someone she knows– or the two are one and the same– has yet to be seen.

It’s going to take all of their skills and determination that they have to crack this case. Leigh’s working on trusting her gut, and she has a great partner in Matt. Together they should be able to bring a killer to justice. But this time, do they have what it takes? Read this novel to find out!
