About Jennifer Spredemann

The American author Jennifer Spredemann is well known for her inspirational and intelligently written novels. A bestselling novelist, her message has traveled fast, reaching readers worldwide who’ve found solace within her words and literature. Writing in an evocative and intelligent manner, she’s a hugely gifted writer with a lot to say, keeping her audience enraptured with her stories. Setting herself apart almost, she’s very much an author with her own unique vision, moving the boundaries of her genre in the process.

She often focuses on the romance genre and features wholly genuine characters with an authentic portrayal of life and love. As a genre, Christian romance is something she clearly excels at while also writing under several different pen-names as well. Penning over forty titles and counting, she’s been writing for quite a while now, too, with an extensive backlog of work, making her one of the most prolific authors currently in her field. Readers from far and wide have found her work difficult to put down, making it addictive, constantly wanting to know what comes next.

With Christianity at the heart of many of her stories, she’s a writer who continually draws in huge audiences with her well-written narratives. Letting her protagonists essentially speak for themselves, too, her characters come alive on the page, really leaving an impact upon the reader. She’s a much sought-after voice in her literary field, saying just what it is that she wants to say as an author with a strong message. There’s lots more to come in the future, too, with plenty more planned on the horizon, as she continues growing rapidly as a storyteller.

Early and Personal Life

Born on the 16th of June in 1974, California, Jennifer Spredemann would grow up with a strong passion for the written word. Focusing on her craft over the years, she would come to develop her own voice as a novelist, with something of her own to say. Using her love of the romance genre as her outlet, she would often draw inspiration from the world around her growing up.

Many of her books would look at Amish life and what the lifestyle meant to all those involved, something she’d write about extensively. It would also come to be her Christian faith that would inspire her as well, allowing her to ultimately make a name for herself. Currently living in Indiana, she lives on a former Amish farm, as she continues to write both regularly and consistently, with more to follow.

Writing Career

Releasing her first book back in 2012, Jennifer Spredemann would publish the novel ‘Amish by Accident,’ which would go on to become hugely successful. Seeing her become a writer on the Amish with something different to say, her book would also win the ‘Readers’ Gold Medal Award.’ Using several different pseudonyms, most notably J.E.B. Spredemann, she would go on to enjoy an extensive literary career.

During her career, she’s written a number of series, including ‘Amish by Accident,’ ‘Amish Girls,’ and ‘Amish Secrets,’ to name just a few. These collections combined have managed to ensure readers have continually come back for more time and time again. Receiving acclaim from both reviewers and the public alike, she continues to grow as a successful author with something to offer.

The Giver

Originally published through the Kindle platform back in 2020 on the 1st of December, this would be the fifth book to arrive in the ‘Amish Country Brides’ series. Providing another stand-alone romance in the series, it features the same world as before with a completely self-contained narrative. Fans of the series won’t be disappointed either, as there’s plenty for those returning to the franchise to enjoy as well.

Returning for the holidays, Bailey Miller has some reluctance about coming back home, as she’s afraid she’ll run into the man who once betrayed her. Choosing MaryAnn Kinsinger over Bailey, Timothy Stoltzfoos realizes he’s made a mistake and yearns for Bailey but feels like he’s lost her forever. Meanwhile, Bailey is set to be married to Mark Petersheim, but she doesn’t really love him, as she still loves Timothy in her heart. Will they both find a way to mend the mistakes of the past, can they come together upon the holidays once more, and what will become of the giver?

Set in an Amish community, Bailey is seen returning to the world of the Amish here, and it makes for an extremely interesting journey. Taking place among their codes and customs, it’s an inventive and highly entertaining romance with a lot to offer the reader. There’s so much at the heart of this novel, with a strong moral center to it, that really allows the reader to truly feel as if they’re a part of the world.

The Widower

Initially arriving on the Kindle platform once again, this would be the seventh book in the ongoing ‘Amish Country Brides’ series. Offering another self-contained romance story, it would first come out on the 1st of June in 2021 to an already eagerly awaiting audience. Much like all the other books in the series, it can be read on its own, as each title really doesn’t need to be read in order to enjoy them.

Feeling like her love-life is dull and somewhat lacking, Emily Miller still enjoys tending to both her roadside stand and garden. With nobody catching her eye at her singing sessions, she feels like it might not be for her, and that’s when she meets the shy and reserved widow Titus Troyer. Previously asking Martha Miller, Emily’s older sister, to marry him, Titus doesn’t want to face rejection once again, so he remains guarded. Will he overcome his fears, though, and make the connection with Emily, can they end up together, and what will happen with Emily and the widower?

This story is sweet and engaging, although it doesn’t get bogged down in sentimentalism as it so easily could. The characters all feel properly fleshed out, and the world itself is really well established, making for a fully involving story and romance. It’s easy to see how so many enjoy the work of Jennifer Spredemann in what is a book that’s easy to pick up yet difficult to put down.
