The series consists of a total of four novels published between the years 2013 and 2015. The first novel of the series was titled ‘Last Hit’ and was published by the Jen Frederick in the year 2013. The plot of the novel deals with the lives of the main characters Daisy Miller and Nikolai Andrushko. In the first half of the novel, Nikolai Andrushko has been described as being a contract killer right from a very young age. He had been a very fearful personality of the town as the people used to fear from getting in front of him. Nikolai used to enjoy the fear of the people by seeing his tattoos. His deadly nature can also be seen from the marks on his fingers, the dagger on his neck as well as the stars on his knees. He had always been a hunter and became a prey as the people of the town used to fear from looking into his eyes. However, when he meets Daily Miller, he does not remain the dangerous person he is known to be and allows her to capture him by lying down. When he begins to fall in love with her, his enemies get a chance to kill him thinking hat love would make him weak. The second novel of the series was titled ‘Last Breath’ and was published in the year 2014 by Jen Frederick. The plot of this novel deals with the lives of the main characters Regan and Daniel. Regan had never experienced the misery in her life before she was kidnapped and sold when she ended up at the wrong place and at the wrong time. A couple of months later, she finds herself in a brothel in Rio, where she meets Daniel Hays. Daniels informs her that he was there to help her to run away from the brothel, but she doubts whether to trust him or not. Regan learns that he has a sarcastic way of doing things and likes to solve every matter with his gun. Slowly, she begins to think that Daniels is the only safe thing in her world and begins to love him. But, she still doubts his claims of protecting her till is last breath. Daniel had only one goal in his life and that was finding his lost sister. He was a former army man and has now become a freelance hitman. He has even befriended many criminals in order to achieve his goal. He desperately tries to search for the face of his sister whenever he raids any brothel or stops human trafficking trucks. Soon, he finds Regan with some bruises on her body in Rio. He does not intend to get involved with her and decides to send her to some place safe. However, he feels that he cannot let her go very easily.
