Mythology 101 is the first novel in the Mythology series. In this debut book in the series, readers get the opportunity to meet the main character of Keith Doyle for the first time.
Keith Doyle is just like any other college student. He spends his days going to class at Midwestern University. He studies and hopes to get ahead and graduate with his degree in business. He is mostly an average student in his twenties, but he also prides himself on being a nerd and a bit eccentric too.
The thing that sets Keith apart from his classmates is the fact that he believes in myths. He actually believes in them in a real way and thinks that magic exists. Unlike most people, he thinks that the Little People exist. It would be like a dream come true if Keith were able to travel to Europe in the future and be able to have the chance to look around and see if the little people are around.
Little does Keith know that he might not have to travel so far abroad in order to find something magical. He is delighted and also a little worried when he finds a colony of elves in the vicinity of the college. He never expected some location as common as the library at the university to be housing a village of these little people.
The library basement seems to have been concealing these mythical beings for quite some time. Who would have ever suspected it? In the modern world, there are hardly any people that believe in the existence of beings like fairies or elves. The only thing is that the college’s student council has been campaigning to have the building demolished for some time.
Keith belongs to the very council that has been calling for the library to be torn down and a new facility built in its place. But he never would have recommended this if he had known that the elves were living there! The student has no choice but to do whatever he can in order to get in the way of this happening if he is to save these beings from destruction.
Keith is in between a rock and a hard place, but choosing between the cause and saving his friends is an easy decision. He has to keep them a secret because if he confided in anyone about them, they would think that he was nuts. Can Keith hide the elves while also saving their home? Read this fun first book in the series all the way to the end to find out!
Mythology Abroad is the exciting sequel in the Mythology series! If you enjoyed the adventures of Keith in the debut story, then you will definitely enjoy this second book in the series.
A business major by day, Keith Doyle also has an unofficial minor happening when it comes to magic and mystical studies. This is all thanks to his friends, also known as the little people or folk. It’s not quite the average life that your college student is enjoying, but that’s more than okay by this avid believer in magic.
Now he is flying abroad to go for the summer on archaeological tours of Ireland and the British Isles. Going with him is Holl, one of his closest friends. While they want to learn something, Holl is also hoping to track down some of his distant relatives so that they can perform a rite to let him marry the love of his life, Maura.
Their adventures may end up getting the attention of magical people while overseas. However, they may not be as friendly as the elves are back home. Will these human smugglers get in the way of a great trip for these two? It’s starting to seem that way.
Keith and his girlfriend may have to step in to save them. Can this student get the credits he needs for college while helping his friend? Read this book to find out!
