About Joe Nobody
An elusive figure, Joe Nobody is the pseudonym for an American writer wishing to keep their real identity a secret. Hiding their real-name they write under a moniker, which is done as they come from a background working within the military. Writing a large number of well received thriller novels filled with action and suspense, they bring a great deal of authenticity to their work. This is something that’s seen them become hugely successful all around the world, reaching readers from all over, regardless of their background.
With over thirty years experience working in the field and serving, they bring a high level of expertise to their writing. This has allowed them to essentially create a brand name that’s known for publishing highly believable and genuine fiction. Working for both the government and private firms, they have seen a lot over the years, much of which goes back into their writing. Moving at an exciting pace, they really manage to bring the world to life, making it feel wholly real upon the page for the reader.
Creating characters that really resonate, he puts them in realistic situations, as the reader really gets to understand and empathize with them. This makes sure the writing itself really stands out, as it becomes something that’s quite different from everything else currently out there. Many of the stories take place on the international stage too, as the reader is transported all around the world, taking in the many sights. With a lot more to follow yet, there’s plenty more to come out under the name of Joe Nobody, as lots more books are planned for the future.
Early and Personal Life
Gaining a military background, the individual known only as Joe Nobody draws from a wealth of experience, which he puts back into his work. This is something that effectively guides the writing, ensuring the books are precise and authentic in their approach to the subject matter. Operating for over thirty years as a competitive shooter as well, they’re more than capable when it comes to handling arms.
Working as an instructor too, they pass on their knowledge to others in need, whether they’re professionals, or private citizens. Always looking to help people, Joe will find out what it is that they’re looking for, learning to what end the techniques taught will be employed. Currently still working within the security industry, Joe Nobody’s real-name is protected to ensure the safety of them and their family.
Writing Career
Starting out with the novel ‘Holding Their Own’ back in 2011, this would be the first title to come out under the name of Joe Nobody. It would also begin an action thriller series of the same name, using a science-fiction premise, with it being set in the near future. Dealing with the downfall of society in 2015, it would run for over eighteen novels and counting, making good use of its compelling concept.
Other series that would be brought out under the name of Joe Nobody would be ‘Olympus Device’ in 2013, and ‘Apocalypse Trails’ in 2016. Some series would also be written alongside fellow writers, including ‘Secession’ in 2014 with PA Troit, and ‘Grey Wolves’ in 2021 with ET Ivester. There would also be some stand-alone novels too, all of which would draw upon contemporary themes and ideas, such as ‘Covid-21’ in 2020.
Renegade
Originally coming out through the ‘Kemah Bay Marketing,, LLC’ publishing label, this would be the thirteenth book in the ongoing ‘Holding Their Own’ series of novels. Released on the 9th of January in 2017, this would carry on from the previous books in much the same vein as before. There would also be plenty of twists and turns along the way, as it manages to keep the reader constantly guessing throughout.
The series itself starts out in 2015, with a post-apocalypse underway following another massive economic depression. This has led to a huge fallout, which by the time this thirteenth novel begins has already happened, with a new more deadly social order in place. With plenty of character arcs brought over, it develops the world from before, and it’s best that they’re all read in order.
Apparently there are no rules when it comes to be re-elected during the apocalypse, as Diana soon finds out when attempting it herself. Now the citizens of the Alliance find themselves torn by bitter rivalries, as division is sown amongst them all, pulling them apart. There’s a challenger on the horizon too, as the people of the Lone Star Nation meet this ruthless new contender for power. It also seems that there’s a crime wave sweeping across the territory, as Bishop becomes immersed in a bitter dispute to pull the Alliance back from the brink of civil-war.
The Surge
Marking the third book in the ‘Secession’ series of novels from Joe Nobody, this would first come out in 2016 on the 3rd of March. Following on from the previous novels, it would feature a lot of elements from before, whilst also developing some new themes and ideas. Written alongside fellow author PA Troit, it would also be published through the ‘Kemah Bay Marketing,, LLC’ imprint to much acclaim.
This particular series looks at a fictional secession of Texas from the rest of the United States, and what might happen during its aftermath. Depicting the secession itself in the first novel, the rest of the series then looks at what might happen to everyone afterwards. In this book it’s already happened, with it being the third book in the series, as it deals with the Mexican drug cartels.
Ever since the secession with Texas, Mexican cartels have grown increasingly desperate, as human trafficking has become a lot less lucrative. With military vehicles posted along the border, the cartels soon turn on each other, leading to a new leader rising from turmoil. Seeking to overthrow the government of Mexico City, this new leader hopes to pin the blame for everything on Texas, while bringing the cartels into a new era of profitability. Stepping up are the two rangers, Sam and Zach, as they must overcome all the odds, and fight for the survival of their republic
