Joel C. Rosenberg is a published author. His books include such series as the J.B. Collins series. He has put out several books and many of them have ended up making their way to the top of the bestseller list.

Joel’s book Epicenter was turned into a documentary in 2007 as well. Rosenberg is not just a writer; he is a founder of a charity as well. The author of several fictional novels, his stories often focus on political thrillers and lots of action.

His main characters are often tough and capable and dedicated to their service. He is the creator of the Last Jihad series, which kicked off in 2002 with the release of the debut novel by the same name.

That was followed by the book The Last Days and the third book, The Ezekiel Option. That novel ended up winning the ECPA’s Best Novel Gold Medallion Award in 2006. There are two more books in this series. The fifth, Dead Heat, has been printed over one million times ever since its release to the readers and fans of this series. Rosenberg identifies in religion as an evangelical Christian.

His parents have differing religious beliefs as his mother sees herself as Gentile and his father hails from a line of family members that have long identified as Orthodox Jewish. Not just a published author, Joel has met and collaborated with several government leaders (of both Israel and the U.S.), which includes Steve Forbes and the former P.M. of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu.

The author has been featured on countless television shows, spots, and programs. He has also appeared quite extensively on the radio. When he is not writing, Rosenberg lives with his family (his wife and their four children) near the District of Columbia area.

The Last Jihad is the debut novel in Rosenberg’s The Last Jihad series. In this fiery debut book of the series, readers get the chance to meet Jon Bennett for the first time. This main character used to be one of the top strategists on Wall Street.

Now he is a senior adviser at the White House. Even though he’s got a great career, it turns out that nothing could have prepared Jon for what is coming into his life next. As it turns out, a plot is in motion that few could have ever conceived of happening.

Saddam Hussein has sent out the best hit men that he can find, and all for the purpose of taking out the U.S. President– for good. Can terror really win? Not if Bennett has anything to do with it. Terrorists stemming from Iraq soon begin to cause major damage around the world in cities such as Paris and London and even Riyadh.

Soon, the so-called ‘Butcher of Baghdad’ is wielding a secret weapon that is just nuclear enough to be a massive threat. When it comes to a coalition against Iraq from the Arabs and Israelis, it seems like this is the only thing keeping the majority of western nations safe from what appears to be the threat of total annihilation.

Now it is up to Bennett and his partner Erin McCoy to set out and stop the madness. Their project is secret– an oil deal that’s going to be made off the Gaza coast. It could be the backbone of what will prove to be a historically significant peace treaty as well as a ton of extra wealth for Palestinians and Israelis. But will the deal be ruined by unexpected events?

Just before the treaty is to be signed, an Iraqi missile launch is foiled by Israeli commandos. They end up recovering a warhead as well as evidence that the next attack will target New York, Washington, and Tel Aviv, likely intended to level the areas.

Now things are really heating up as the American president receives the ultimate choice: either the U.S. can melt Baghdad to the ground, or Israel will. Faced with an impossible choice from the Israeli P.M., Bennett and McCoy will be taking all of their savvy nature and stealth to the job in one last effort to save the world. Can they do it? Read this phenomenal first novel in the series from Rosenberg to find out!

The Last Days is the second novel in The Last Jihad series by acclaimed writer Joel C. Rosenberg. When it comes to world politics, things just keep getting stickier and crazier. Oh well, that’s politics for you– especially when it comes to operating on a global scale.

With the city of Baghdad in ruins, bin Laden dead, Hussein dead and buried, the threats are naturally coming from other sources now. The country of Iraq has been bombed to here and back, with many civilian casualties. Bennett is a former strategist turned adviser who works closely with Erin McCoy, his partner in the C.I.A. The United States Secretary of State has arrived to meet with Arafat in the Middle East.

The leaders are going to discuss a peace plan between the Arabs and Israelis, and Bennett will be the chief architect. They are discussing a proposed treaty, behind which is the discovery of a bunch of oil and natural gas underneath the Mediterranean that could mean that everyone in the area becomes rich. The international media has been tracking this story the whole time.

For the Americans, the message is that both countries must move ahead to sign a treaty for peace, putting the violent and hostile actions of the past behind them. Now both sides must try to cooperate, and that includes deciding what to do and how to extract the oil that they’ve found.

Can natural resources be enough to develop a new treaty that will aid everyone? Or will greed be too much? Once they start working together, the U.S. has agreed to underwrite billions of venture capital that is required to make this idea a reality.

Men whose hearts do not have the best intentions may be lurking in the shadows too, ready to do whatever they can to tank a Palestine and Israel peace deal. The countries are willing to use violence to achieve their ends.

With a ticking clock refusing to stop, Bennett and McCoy are ready to try and make peace happen– no matter what. What happens? Read The Last Days to find out!

I wasn’t aware The Third Target was part of a series till that last page… Now I HAVE to find the rest. Great story telling and world creation fitting in with reality just enough to lend realism without depression of the state of affairs today. Going to be a high recommendation to everyone who asks for authors!

I’ve read all the fiction and some of the nonfiction. Great books I highly recommend. I thought the nonfiction books might be a little slow and hard for me to read, compared to the fiction, but they are not. they are very interesting and compelling.

They definitely should make movies out of these books as great as they are. I read that the first one was actually “prophetic” as he wrote about the bombing of the Twin Towers & a government instillation BEFORE it happened, in 09/11! Amazing! Characters, story line, details are so realistic. Cliff-hangers throughout each book! As an author, he is AAA+++!

When in the Albuquerque Barnes and Noble bookstore two weeks ago, I was looking for a political thriller or historical fiction novel. Joel C. Rosenberg’s “The Ezekiel Option ” caught my attention. I have read about 3/4 of that book so far and have enjoyed it immensely .His latest, “The Kremlin Conspiracy ” is on my list of books to buy next .

You need to read the 1st 2 books to understand the flow of events. ROSENBERG IS EXCELLENT! I also enjoy

Bodie & Brock Thoene Books, which are historically accurate FICTION books (characters). I couldn’t put those down! I get these books thru my local library or at ABEBOOKS.COM at a major discount.
