Here readers get to meet the main character of Cullen James. She’s a young lady and her life is not the same as most people’s as her life decides what she dreams– and the other way around as well. Her dreams at the same time dictate what her life is like.

The first dream that she ever had was quite interesting. She found a great man who was so close to being perfect that you would never believe it. The thing about it was that she ended up finding that perfect guy in the real world too. So there was a correlation and it immediately came true. That was when she started suspecting that something was happening that was beyond the ordinary.

Now Cullen has started to have dreams that are taking place in a world that she has never seen before. She knows that it is Rondua, and through her dreams she finds out more about this place. It is a fantasy world that is filled with tests and adventure. The tests are designed to see how strong or courageous you are.

She’s concerned that the dream world that she’s in when she goes to bed at night might be real, even though she has no idea where it would be placed. But she has bigger items on her plate because the world that she sees when she goes to sleep is starting to cross over into her real life in New York City.

If the line between Rondua and N.Y.C. begins to blur, what is she going to do? She’s starting to have such intense dreams that it’s risking taking away everything that she really cares about. She’s trying to gather up the courage that she needs to take this on, but can she do anything in order to overcome what’s happening?

With her friends on her side, Cullen must do what she can to take on the blending of the two worlds and hopefully restore each of the realities back to where they originally were in the first place. What will happen? You’ve got to read the exciting first novel in this series from Carroll to find out!

Meet Walker Easterling. Like many others before him, he is a retired actor. He has taken some time off from being in front of the camera and now he has turned his attention to the pleasures of the written word. As a result, his screenwriting has been doing very well.

Walker resides in Vienna, where he enjoys hanging out with his many friends or simply sitting on the sidewalk and enjoying a wonderful cup of strong coffee. His life is pretty much going as expected and is enough to satisfy him. However, everything comes alive one day when he meets a gorgeous artist named Maris York.

Through their meeting, he eventually finds that his life is becoming increasingly fantastical. He’s falling more in love with this mysterious artist every day. But the more time that he spends with her and the more attracted and in love he feels, the stranger that his life continues to become.

Walker knows that it’s not normal to be able to predict events, but it’s not his fault– now he’s starting to see events happen right before they actually come to pass. When a pull from his past leads him to meet a mysterious shaman who is supposed to have great powers, it’s clear that this writer and former actor’s life may never be the same.

The shaman helps the writer in his quest to figure out his many past lives. They are connected, and the two soon figure out that a conflict from the past that has never been resolved may be manifesting. It is even putting the love of the couple at risk. Could the echoes of the past have an effect on the present and tear Walker and Maris apart?

Find out what happens in this fantasy world that seamlessly blends action and suspense together! Check out the dynamic second novel in this series by picking up Sleeping in Flame.
