Lord Ancrum and Lydia are introduced to each other by Lord Irwin’s wife, and he’s happy that she turns out a present during his embarrassing moment and never turns away from him. She accepted his request to dance with him, and two days later, Lydia is so happy to have accepted Lady Irwin’s invitation.

Can Lydia and Lord Ancrum ever find happiness in the middle of a scandal? There’s a murder which, if Joseph isn’t keen, he would be accused of being responsible.

Lydia was always timid and caring until she realized that unless she took her life into her hand, she forever remains with no husband and become an enslaved person to her parents. One night she meets strange people at the ball party she was attending, where she gets introduced to Joseph, the Earl of Ancrum.
After some time of knowing each other, the two agreed to help each other solve their pressing issues. Joseph’s redemption was committed to getting him a bride, while Lydia needed to be introduced to some decent men so that she find a husband in them.

The more time they spent together, the more they admired and began to care about each other. When a lady requests Joseph, with a reputation, to assist er look for a man who has been blackmailing her, he doesn’t let Lydia know about it. He knows helping the lady will help his reputation but will hurt Lydia.
It turns out that helping the lady is the worst thing he ever did. Lydia isn’t prepared for the world she is about to enter, where nothing is what it appears to be.

An Earl’s Redemption is a perfect book for mystery fans with fake engagement and wholesome romance. The storyline flows smoothly as the writer skillfully weaves mystery, romance, and emotional drama to capture the readers’ interest.

The characters are well developed as they come to terms with their dark pasts, internal struggles, and fears to find a solution to the flawed situation.
The Viscount’s Promise

The Viscount’s Promise is the first installment in the Weddings and Scandals series. A mystery surrounds Julianna’s family and could lead her to the man that robs her heart.

Francis Newton was the second born of a baron on trial for murder. The verdict was that he was to be spared the hanging but would be jailed and never be able to go back to society. However, before all the people cleared, he shouted his protest against the verdict, saying that he was innocent and someone had set him to take the blame.

He turned to his former friend Thomas, Viscount Sharpe, who said he was innocent even though he was the one who found him standing near a body with a bloody knife. He wondered why one would set him up and requested Thomas to take care of his sister. Even though Francis had brothers, he knew they would not bother caring for her when he was gone.

Thomas gave Francis his word and later drank poison while everyone was watching and still declared himself innocent.

Miss Julianna Newton is straining to return to a society that no longer wants her. One year after her brother’s death, she got a lucky sponsor who helped her get invitations to exclusive events of the London Season.

To her surprise, she finds that one Lord Sharpe is ready to help her make the right associates because of a promise he made to her late brother, Francis.
