Barbara Keiler was born on April 7. she began telling stories before she could even write. She was 4 when Carolyn (her sister) stuffed a crayon into her hand and taught the alphabet to her, and she has been writing ever since.
She is a graduate of Smith College, where she learned to aim for the stars, and she got her master’s degree in creative writing from Brown University, where she took her aim at a good looking graduate student in the chemistry department and wound up marrying the guy.
Before she got married, she had a job in California and he was working on a PhD in Rhode Island. She got sick, and he hopped on a plane and flew across the country in order to be with her. Neither one of them had money, however he said that he simply could not focus on his research, knowing that she was facing a serious health problem on her own, some three thousand miles away. He stayed for two weeks, until she’d pretty well recovered. That he’d just drop everything he was doing, put his life on hold, and raced to her side told her just how much he loved her. After that, she knew this was the man that she wanted to marry.
Judith has gotten writing fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Shubert Foundation. She’s taught at universities and colleges all around the country. She’s also written several plays which have been professionally staged at regional theaters in Washington DC, off-off-Broadway, San Francisco, and Connecticut.
Since she published her first romance novel as Ariel Berk in 1983. She wrote a novel as Thea Frederick, and starting in 1985 she has been writing as Judith Arnold. She’s sold over 70 novels, with 8 million copies being in print around the world.

Samantha is a baby, and a girl. What does Jamie even know about either one really? Samantha, more importantly, is his daughter. So he phones Allison Winslow, a nurse that runs the Daddy School, for some advice. However once he actually meets Allison, he finds that he wants so much more than just her assistance.
“Changes” is the first novel in the “Magic Jukebox” series and was released in 2014. The Magic Jukebox sits in the Faulk Street Tavern out in the peaceful town of Brogan’s Point, Massachusetts. Nobody knows just what classic rock songs are going to come out of the jukebox when a coin gets put in, however every now and then, the jukebox plays a song which casts a spell on two of the patrons in the bar, a song which will change their lives and open up their hearts to love.
Diana Simms (an antiques dealer) is engaged to her longtime boyfriend once she finds herself inside of the Faulk Street Tavern. The song “Changes” emerges out of the jukebox and enchants her. It also captivates a local man named Nick Fiore, who arrived at adulthood the hard way, after touring his way through the juvenile justice system. Now he has dedicated to helping out other troubled kids. He’s got no business even looking at a well-bred and beautiful woman wearing a diamond engagement ring. However when they are bewitched by the jukebox, Nick and Diana have to change their goals, their lives, their dreams, and their hearts.
“Still Kicking” is the first novel in the “Lainie Lovett Mystery” series and was released in 2016. Lainie Lovett has got three passions: the Rockettes (her recreational soccer team), her fourth grade students at the Hopwell School, her two almost grown children. An evening after soccer practice, she has began spotting the husband of a teammate canoodling with some other woman in a local eatery.
She is even more shocked when he winds up dead the very next day. And even more shocked when she ends up under suspicion as an accessory to murder. However Lainie is stubborn and smart. She’s going to figure out who murdered her teammate’s husband, if she can just stay outta jail, if she can stay alive, and hang onto her sense of humor.
“Girls Aloud” is a stand alone novel that was released in 2023. When Ellie Gillman waves her husband off on his grand adventure: a cross-country bicycle trip off to publicize the perils of climate change, she realizes that she’s got an environment of her own to take care of. The environment of her daughters, her home, and her cozy New England town. As Scott Gillman is off pedaling his way to glory and fame, Ellie mops the messes of day-to-day living up.
The town has got a litter problem. The house has got a roof issue. Ellie’s boss is a talking and walking problem. Ellie’s best friend has got marital problems. Abbie (her teen daughter) is becoming rebellious, and Misha (her younger daughter) gets devastated when a good friend forms a club with a bunch of his friends to celebrate her dad’s bike ride and forbids her from joining. No Girls Aloud, as he messages her.
You can just forget about that. Ellie and all her daughters are going to be aloud. They are gonna make noise. Like Ellie learns, if a girl wants to be heard, then she must speak up, speak out, and bang some pans and pots.
