Growing up in Vienna, Julia’s mother, an actor turned acting coach, and her father, a healthcare consultant, raised her. She then earned a scholarship to Peking University, furthering her education with an MA in international relations and history.

Completing her final academic year at the acclaimed London School of Economics, Julia shifted her focus considerably.
