Julia Keanini is the oldest of six kids, five of which are girls. In college, she lived with a total of twenty girls, so she feels like she knows girls. Then she was thrown a curveball when she had a baby boy and couldn’t be more confused or pleased.

However in all this time with girls, she learned a ton of things, including many of them are insecure. Especially Julia herself. She writes about these insecurities and the experiences that come with them, because of them, or even despite them. Julia also writes about how amazing girls and women because she’s happy to be a girl. She writes about girls that deal with what life throws at them. And always about love. Because she loves love.

Julia loves writing because she is a tad crazy and her characters start speaking to her at all hours. Luckily she is able to call herself an author and suddenly seems sane. She is married to the guy of her dreams that she wasn’t smart enough to dream up.

She is a city girl that lives in a country world (and secretly loving every moment of it). She loves the mountains, and would adore the beach, if it weren’t for all the salt and sand.

A great song, a good book, or a huge piece of chocolate can lift up her mood, however her true happiness is found in her small family.

Julia’s debut novel, called “Lacey’s Story”, was released in the year 2015. Her work is from the young adult romance genre.

“The Shy Girl and the Football Star” is the first novel in the “Sunday Lunchers” series and was released in the year 2018. A relationship between the shy, nerdy girl and the hot football star can work out, right?

The one thing worse than having to attend the same high school with Charity, Lacey’s cheer-captain beautiful sister? Learning that she is dating the boy next door that she has had a crush on since she was just three years old.

Anna is captain of her school’s prestigious trivia team, a 4.0 student, and they are on their way to winning Nationals.

Problem is Rhys Blackburn. Anna knew that liking him was a stupid thing to do. He was the opposite of everything that she was. After Rhys graduated, she figured he would out of her life. However you know what they say about assuming.

Instead, all of his broody ways and gorgeousness are just a bathroom and room away and with him come a few complications. Major complications. It’s fine, though. “The Mean Girl and the New Guy” is the third novel in the “Sunday Lunchers” series and was released in the year 2018. He is the one that every girl wants, yet he just wants Jamie. Too bad she cannot have him either.

Life as the most popular girl in school’s best friend was everything that she had been hoping it would be. Granted, people only called her Other Jamie behind her back and sometimes she needs to be a brat in order to keep her place as the aforementioned best friend. But it’s still worth it. Anything is a whole lot better than going back to being just known as Jake’s not nearly as talented, younger sister.

However then Cole. She tried to just ignore the way that her heart speeds up each and every time he looks her way. The new boy is just trouble since her best friend has laid a claim on him. There are plenty of other boys and it is something she makes sure that Cole comprehends. However when she loses everything, it is easy to see what is important. Has Cole moved on though?

“The Sweet Girl and the Rock Star” is the fourth novel in the “Sunday Lunchers” series and was released in the year 2018. What if the right guy’s always been right there?
