Ms. Mills describes herself as southern, sassy, sarcastic, and sometimes foul-mouthed mother of “two rockin’ girls”. She believes a girl needs makeup and purses, good shoes, and good books. She’s a sucker for a happy ending, a super sexy man, and large dose of romance.

Her Dragon Guard Series is plentiful with lots stories of hot, sexy, fantastical men; ripe with steamy situations and otherworldly love.

Her Dragon To Slay: Golden Fire Clan, is the first book, the one that launched the prolific Dragon Guard Series. Her Dragon to Slay introduces us to Kyndel, a curvy, strong-willed, sassy miss when destiny lands her in a mess that’s eons old and her life is in danger.

Kyndel been trying to reach her friend, Grace, for hours. Grace has her car and Kyndel’s phone is plugged in that car. It’s not like Grace to blow her off. She’s her ride home tonight and where the heck is she? She’s torn between being seriously pissed and worried to death.

Rayne is a fearless leader of the Dragon Guard and has an immense problem. He’s being tormented in his dreams night after night with a beautiful, curvy, sexy red-headed beauty. Who is she? Why is she coming unbidden to his dreams every night? She is a deep mystery and he doesn’t know why she keeps returning to his dreams night after night.

He doesn’t have time for this. The dark forces are gathering and threatening to return stronger than ever, and they intend to kill him and others like him. He has to be vigilant and doesn’t have room for distractions like the beautiful red head.

Kyndel ends up walking home. Feeling annoyed/worried about not being able to reach Grace, she’s getting spooked with the noises in the dark. She doesn’t have her nose and toes in the same direction and catches her shoe on a lift in the sidewalk. She’s going down fast and all she can think in that split second is “this is gonna leave a mark.”

She’s startled to realize she is caught mid-fall, in the strong hold of the most gorgeous man she has ever seen with a face that looks like it was chiseled out by an artist. He must have hit his is own head catching her because he is lying there unconscious.

He is shirtless and has a marvelously perfect chest- all muscle and all man. He’s so perfect, Kyndel can’t breathe. He must be doused in pheromones. Or is she in heat? She’s so distracted she forgets she needs to run for help.

Another fabulous, fun, fanciful series is Ms. Mills’ “Not Quite Love Stories”. The first offering is a short, cute romp- “Vidalia”.

Vidalia Fitzsimmons, heiress to the Georgia Vidalia Onion Empire, and obviously her namesake, has it all going for her with a perfect job and a sexy boyfriend until the day bodies start falling from the sky. Unfortunately literally.

As the medical examiner she has to figure out what is going on. The body count is adding up and it’s up to her and a cop and a nerd to figure it out. For Vidalia, being a vampire, just brings an extra complication.

Per the author, this is “an adult erotic paranormal romance with love scenes and mature situations. It is only intended for adult readers over the age of 18.”

The first of the Southern Fried Sass series of stories, Later Gator is a frolic in the supernatural with sister witches who move to a small town in Loooooozeeeeanna and set up a private detective agency. The Sheriff of Hairy Wart Parish takes umbrage at their presence, seeing as how he thinks it’s stepping on his toes and his territory. He don’t need no help from some silly flower girls from the city.

Faith Fairyflower is tired and ready to call it a day after their long trip and setting up the new office. She didn’t need nor want a surly, supercilious southern Gator with a star on his chest and an obvious superiority complex bothering her on her first day. He was acting less like a welcoming committee and more like the moving company to get her packed out before they had even had a chance to settle in.

They have settled in with their own darling yellow house with a Barn Owl Shifter who protects them from what goes bump in the night. With no barn, Faith is thinking about building the feathered friend a shed or something. Daisy and Rosie, the other sisters, are content to let Faith lead the way and do all the worrying for their group.

Their first case doesn’t give her much hope for their prospects when Henrietta calls, hysterical, demanding immediate help finding a few chickens she just knows were stolen. It was the longest three hours of Faith’s life as she simultaneously tried to calm Henrietta, gets details on said chickens, and think of the purses and boots she was going to make out of the hide of the supercilious Sheriff.

Barely after getting Henri calmed down her partner gets home and Henri again becomes a wailing wad of worry and tears. Bunny is ready to immediately maim whomever brought on this trauma to the love of her life. Faith is in her laser sights who’s now sweating bullets to quickly explain her role in the crime and give assurance they will find the lost hens. After collecting a recording of Henri’s special cooing-hen- call Faith bolts to safety and to find the hens, fervently hoping they haven’t already become gator food or someone’s fried chicken dinner.

Ms. Mills is Southern to her core and adopts critters like most people have dust bunnies. Her daddy, the love of her life, gave her the nick-name Sassy, Southern Storyteller when he thought it a funny nickname for his kindergarten teacher daughter. And boy did it stick.

Ms. Mills says she lives “by three simple rules: Smile lots. Try everything. Treat people how you want to be treated. Good rules for all of us!

Most of Ms. Mills’ stories come with a situational maturity warning and are advised for adults 18 years and older.

   I just finished The Dragons Guard Series and I am sad. I had a wonderful time reading all 50 of your books and wish for more. Epilogue Book 50 Who’s Her Dragon you spoke about THE KING Big Cat Pride Book 1. When is that available and if it is available how do I get it?
