June Masters Bacher is a best selling America published author. Her series have been very popular with readers and sales have reached into well over a million copies. She is very well known for writing not one but three total fictional series, the Pioneer Romance novels. She is also a poet and nonfiction author.

This author is not only a popular writer but is known for her great storytelling with tons of twists that no reader will see coming! She lives in the area of Southern California, where she does much of her writing.

The Pioneer Romance Series I is the first fictional series to come out from this author. The first book was published in 1983, titled Love Is a Gentle Stranger. The sequel would come out not too long after, but a good amount– Love’s Silent Song was released in 1988. There are six novels in this first Pioneer series in total, from Diary of a Loving Heart all the way to the last novel, Love’s Enduring Hope. This last novel was published in 1990.

From there, June Masters Bacher continued onward with the series. Her second installment of the Pioneer Romance fictional series made its debut in 1985 with Journey to Love. There are six books in this series as well, a pattern that continued with the release of the third Pioneer Romance installment in 1987. This series kicked off with the romantic book Love’s Soft Whisper.

Another similar series would be debuted for readers to enjoy in 1982 with the release of the Heartland Heritage series of fictional novels. There are four novels to read in this series, starting off with No Time for Tears and concluding with the fourth novel, Return to the Heartland.

In addition to composing these four well liked series, Bacher also wrote a significant amount of stand alone fictional novels. She would start this list in 1984 with the publication of her romance novel Love Shines Through. That would be followed up with Always and Forever as well as Echoes from the Past and The Heart That Lingers, all the way to her last novel published, Homeward Bound. The author has written nine individual books not linked to a series.

Bacher has also put out some of her poetry in the form of a collection. Her 1982 collection is titled The Grandmother Book and holds some of her most eloquent poems. Not content to dabble solely in fiction, she also released several nonfiction novels as well. These started in 1979 with the release of her book Quiet Moments for Women. The last of her nonfiction books to be published came out in 2000 and is titled Devotions for Morning and Evening. Before this, in 1988. she even put out her own cookbook so that readers can try and enjoy some of her favorite recipes at home for themselves.

Love Is a Gentle Stranger is the tantalizing first story to come out in June Masters Bacher’s first Pioneer Romance series. This fictional series is full of adventure and historical nuance as it tells a tale set on the American frontier.

It is here that readers get to meet the main character of Chris Beth for the first time. She is an independent young woman that always thought that she knew what she was doing in her life. This school teacher always fended for herself, but when she sets out to find a new life for herself and a chance to start again, it may test even her own very strong will.

Chris Beth has recently had her heart broken. She is emotionally upset and embarrassed that she was jilted by her love. Faced with no other choice but to pull herself up by the bootstraps and to begin again, she decides that her best bet is to start over on the frontier. This is no easy place to fend for yourself, but she’s desperate for a fresh chapter in her life to begin.

Chris even embraces the dangers that come along with this new life. She has every intention of taking on the difficulties one at a time. After all, every other time that she’s been in crisis she has handled it more than adequately on her own. This independent woman is used to making things work alone, without the help of a man. Why not continue to do so?

She learns to get along with a small group of settlers, but this place on the frontier is really tough. Together they face uprisings as well as strong winds and even natural disasters like floods that threaten to wipe everything away. This woman has learned that if she bands together with others and trusts in her faith, they may just be able to survive anything.

Love’s Silent Song is the exciting second book in the first Pioneer Romance series from author June Masters Bacher.

   I would like to know how I can get a copy of all your books! I read the loves silent song series years ago and fell in love. Your an amazing writer and I would like to know if thwre was a way to maybe get into some kind of book club where I can buy them so many at a time until I have all your complete sets!
