Early and Personal Life

Always interested in reading and writing from an early age, Justin Bell would develop his passion for the craft of storytelling. This interest would continue to grow throughout much of his life, as he would come to establish the literary voice he’s known for today. Progressing as an author as the years went on, he would come to reach a worldwide audience, allowing him to become a household name for many.

As he was growing up he would heavily draw from novels such as ‘The Stand,’ with his appreciation of Stephen King inspiring him. Taking ideas from the world around him as well, he would create his own unique brand of fiction that so many would come to admire. Currently writing to this very day, he lives with his family as he continues to write into the foreseeable future for many years yet.

Writing Career

Publishing his first novel in 2016, Justin Bell would make his solo literary debut with the title ‘The Fog of Dreams,’ which was the first in the ‘Operation: Harvest’ collection. He would soon go on to become well known for writing military based science-fiction, with a heavy leaning on the action angle. In time he would also go on to write several other series, including ‘War of the Three Planets,’ and ‘Darkness Rising’ to name just some of them.

Many of the series he wrote would be written alongside fellow science-fiction author Mike Kraus, as they would produce a number of books together. Prior to all of this he would practice his craft honing his skills on the GI Joe franchise, publishing countless stories for the Kindle platform. Continuing his presence, he will carry on growing as a writer, with lots more action-packed books set for release on the horizon.

Tipping Point

Originally coming out in 2017 on the 9th of April, this book was first released through the ‘Wolf’s Head Publishing’ label. Continuing on from the last two novels, this is the third title in the ‘Operation: Harvest’ series of novels, as it is a further self-contained story. They don’t necessarily need to be read in order, but it does offer plenty for fans, and is an exciting continuation of the franchise.

There’s a serial-killer on the loose, and they plan to turn the capital of the nation into their own personal slaughterhouse. Stepping up to stop him is one William Strickland, as he battles against the odds to find the killer, all while dealing with a global conspiracy. Not only that, but GenTech has created a horrific creation, and he must do whatever it takes to stop it before it’s too late. How is everything connected, does he have what it takes to stay alive, and what, exactly, will be his and everyone else’s tipping point?

It’s an action-packed instalment of the series, with plenty of intrigue waiting around each and every single corner. Keeping the reader constantly invested throughout, it’s exciting to see William Strickland working against the odds once again. Returning readers will have plenty to enjoy, while it also offers a lot for newcomers to the series as well, with its self-contained mystery narrative.

Jaws of Death

This would first come out in 2020 on the 29th of May to much acclaim, with it being the fourth in the ‘Storm’s Fury’ series of books. Picking up from where the previous three titles finished, it’s ideal that they’re read in order so as to get the most from the franchise overall. With an ongoing post-apocalyptic narrative, it also makes way for the fifth title, which was ‘Storm Cloud’ also published in 2020, and Mike Kraus would write the series alongside Bell.

Struggling to survive a wound that’s near fatal Joel is on the edge, while Helen must assume his once role of leadership. Then there’s Shawna and Big T dealing with excessive force, and Laura and Jack dealing with limits being pushed to breaking point. With disaster striking America in this tale of post-apocalyptic catastrophe, the survivors must band together to deal with the challenge ahead. Can they hope to manage it, do they really have what it takes, and what will become of them all as they confront the jaws of death?

It’s another exciting and tense post-apocalyptic action-thriller from Justin Bell, as he does what he does best here once again. Never letting up with the pace at any moment, the narrative moves along at an exciting momentum, really capturing the tone of the previous novels. It also has many twists and turns of its own, always keeping the reader guessing at every single turn of the page throughout.
