This is what she does as she hides in her castle with a neverending supply of books, cakes, tea, and her many familiars (animals feature prominently in much of her work).

Karen is able to imagine dragons, taste cookies even when they are not there, and hear the crack of a witch’s broom at a hundred paces.

Karen lives in the United Kingdom among the fairy creatures and mystical stones of Somerset. She graduated from the Universities of Reading and Southhampton, where she received degrees in Cognitive Evolution and Archaeology (both are highly entertaining to take part in, however with the career options of a ground witch’s toe bone).

“Murder Daze” is the first novel in the “Zee Town Paranormal Cozy Mystery” series and was released in 2016. Welcome to Zee Town, which is Cornwall’s haven for placid zombies. The tourists love visiting the gorgeous British seaside paradise. And the zombies, well, who knows really what is going on behind those dead eyes of theirs!

Things are going great for Cassie March, Zee Town’s tourism manager. She is planning the fifth town carnival, the sun is shining, and her placid zombies are happy.
