K.M. Shea is a published author of fiction.

She goes by the pen name of K.M. Shea but says that her writers tend to call her by the name Kitty. She likes to refer to her readers as Champions.

Shea is an author that specializes in the genres of fantasy, romance, and young adult. She has always had a deep love for fairy tales and adventure books. At times, she still looks into closets with the hope that she can finally find Narnia. She enjoys writing stories that are funny and clean and have strong characters. She likes to read books that are similar, so it makes sense that she likes to write stories that are that way.

Shea admits that she loves witty characters, endings that end happily, and sweet romances. She thinks that since life is tough, books ought to be something for the reader that helps them to laugh and relax.

The author has been writing for some time now. She was able to finish her very first novel when she was in the eighth grade. She admits that the book was a bit of a mess, but concedes that the writing of it was good practice. Ever since then, she’s made it a point to write steadily.

Shea has also worn other hats besides being an author. She has worked as a member of library staff as librarian, a journalist, freelance reporter, blogger, and editor to a newsletter. She’s been writing for a while and while it was never her day job, eventually she was able to quit her day job and work as a writer on a full time basis.

Shea says that she is a really big book geek. She enjoys all types of genres, including science fiction and classics. However, young adult and fantasy are the genres that she loves the most. She also describes herself as a nerd since she is into computers, super heroes, video games, and even book memes.

The author attended college as well. She graduated with a B.A. in the field of print journalism as well as a minor in Japanese. She resides in the Midwest somewhere in the country. She shares her home with her tri-colored collie who is named Perfect Dog. Perfect Dog is always by her side. She also has a mint plant that she’s trying to grow indoors that she calls Bob.

Vampires Drink Tomato Juice is the debut novel in the Magical Beings’ series by K.M. Shea. It is the first story in this exciting and humorous series that takes on the world of the urban paranormal. This story is filled with everything from adventure to friendship, magic, romance, and the scary setting of high school. This book was first published with the title My Life at the MBRC.

In this debut novel, readers get to meet the main character of Morgan Fae. She is a young woman and a student in high school. But lately, she’s been starting to wonder about whether she’s even sane or not.

This is mostly due to being a witness to an incident where there was a werewolf, a sub teacher that might be a vampire, and a thermos containing tomato juice, of all things. Not long after, she is whisked away to a place called the Magical Beings’ Rehabilitation Center.

This place is a formal organization. Its purpose is to try and take magical beings and teach them how they can integrate themselves into society. The organizations in hidden in the Union Station in Chicago. The organization is also a secret, so Morgan being initiated by accident is a huge deal. In fact, it breaks just about all the rules established.

The officials there are trying to figure a way that they can undo all of the damage that has happened. In the meantime, Morgan gets a part time job working in the center so that the residents are able to learn from an average human, a good opportunity to be used as a resource. Morgan’s treated as a virtual walking encyclopedia through this job as the residents are fairly curious.

Morgan also takes part in private tutoring. Then she makes friends with a shape shifting fairy, the pooka. He’s fairly handsome, so there might be an attraction there. Morgan’s made friends while she was here. But when the time comes to leave it all behind, will she be able to say goodbye to her friends and go back to the seemingly boring and normal world? Read this book to find out!

A Gremlin boss is pushing for her to stay close to Chicago. Then there’s Pooka. He wants her to go overseas to study.

While dealing with all of this, Morgan’s been trying to figure out where she wants to go to college. She’s attempting to figure out her future. But that’s tough when a certain organization that is against humans and rehabilitation starts to issue threats. Can she keep working for the MBRC? Or is safety and survival more pressing? Find out by reading Goblins Wear Suits!
