Kandice Geddes is a bestselling inspirational and romance author who has written more than a dozen novels in different series.

The author was born and brought up in St. George, Utah. She began writing as a very small child when she would come up with imaginative stories of mermaids that fell for dashing princes. Much of this was inspired by Disney movies and programs, which she used to watch a lot.

Geddes went to Southern Utah University, where she graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. She would then go on to teach first-grade learners for four years. While she was living in northern Colorado, she once again renewed her interest in writing as she got back into romance.

She published “Book Boyfriends and Butterfly Kisses” her debut novel in 2021 and has never looked back since. She now has more than a dozen works that include, novels and collections of short stories in addition to contributions to several series over the years.

When she is not writing her novels, she can usually be found baking sugar cookies, drawing, reading spending time with her swoony husband and two, and watching Disney movies.

Geddes’ debut novel “Book Boyfriends and Butterfly Kisses” is the story of Connor and Lana Coleman. The former would do anything to prove to Lana the girl of his dreams that he would be the best man for her.

Lana believes that she will find the perfect guy in time even as she considers Connor the annoying but very attractive man nothing but a friend. He has been teasing her about her hunt for a soul mate and even challenged her to find a lover who ticked all her boxes before she celebrates her birthday.

She wants to show him that she will accomplish it but she is not going to lower her standards, even after several run-ins with strange men. She is determined to never settle but is not so sure that she is ready to be lonely for life.

On his part, Connor is on a quest to prove to Lana that he is capable of providing more than friendship. Even if it would take a ridiculous challenge, there is nothing that is going to stop him.

But his well-laid plans backfire spectacularly, and now he needs to decide if he has to admit to Lana that he has been scheming to get her. If he does so, he runs the risk of losing her forever or maybe winning her heart.

It is a beautiful romantic comedy filled with quirky characters and laugh-out-loud moments that will have its readers glued to its pages.

“Fired Up Over You” by Kandice Geddes is the prequel to “Book Boyfriends and Butterfly Kisses.” The lead is a woman attracted to a smoking hot firefighter Whenever she sees or hears from him, she cannot help it as her insides usually quiver and sizzle.

But gaining his attention has been very difficult. She has resorted to desperate measures including getting herself stuck up a tree so that he can come and get her down.

However, she is saved by another guy from the fire department and she decides to join the firefighter department so that she can be closer to her beau. But she is an uncoordinated and clumsy person who often gets lectured by the guy that saved her from a tree.

Upon arriving, the latter mistakes her for the mail bride he had been communicating with. Confused, bitter, and all alone, she goes along with his misunderstanding hoping to ultimately marry him.

But the man wants nothing to do with her except for very rare occasions when he gazes at her with his soft eyes just like he used to do. She is conflicted and finds herself unable to do anything about the feelings that just would not fade.

When she learns of the gold rush in Alaska she decides to try her luck and goes on an adventure that will test her limits. She now has to deal with the struggle between duty and love and only James can save her.
