Karen Frances has done a fantastic job weaving two characters readers will easily connect with and adore. Libby is not your typical heroine in happily ever after type of romance novels. She suffers a bad heartbreak for simply being there for other people. What kind of boyfriend does that to his fiancé? The chemistry between both Alex and Libby is way off the charts and burns through pages. Plenty of scenes to devour will have you fanning yourself to cool down enough to get through them.
The heroine in the story has all the qualities you want in female main characters. She is loyal, independent, sassy and never holds back. Seeing her walk on the wild side with a man from New York and finally set herself free is more enjoyable. Surprisingly enough, during her moments of vulnerability is when she becomes the strongest. You will appreciate how she will have Alex chasing her up and down in the beginning.

On the other hand, if you are searching for a book featuring a dominant, alpha, and douche at times male character, then you won’t be wrong with this novel as Alexander presents all these features. He is determined to go to extreme lengths to ensure that Libby is his. But as aforementioned, he’s a new yorker playboy unaccustomed to having to work to win the love of a lady, and this trait makes him make mistakes along the way. In the end, he does a fantastic job of redeeming himself.
The supporting characters are well-crafted and play essential roles in Alex and Libby’s life. For example, we have Kirsty, who’s Libby’s best friend. She is an incredible and inspiring supporting character. Her scenes are full of awesomeness. Besides all the steamy scenes and romance in the story, the author does a brilliant job of ensuring that the reader’s emotions are invested deeply.

“Scripted Reality” is a brilliantly woven work of emotion that uniquely and intricately brings the reader skillfully into the characters’ lives. The story offers a cliffhanger at the end that will have the readers anxiously awaiting the sequel.
Meet Ella MacGregor, a once well-sought-after Scottish actress whose life takes a dangerous downturn. Her agent, her boyfriend, betrays her, forcing her to figure out how to regain her trust, security, and joy in life. Fortunately for Ella, she has a loving family and close friends whom she can rely on for help. She has to reclaim herself and turn her life around. You will enjoy reading about her life struggles and the accomplishments she makes in the end.

The characters, both primary and supporting ones, are well crafted. Ella’s struggles are real, and her emotions are honest and heartbreaking. Connor Andrews was Ella’s boyfriend’s best friend. He loved her from the sidelines, so when Ella’s boyfriend betrays her, Connor steps up to show his love and how a lady should be treated. Ella’s father is a character almost every reader will highly relate with. He wants to ensure his girl is happy and healthy, just like any good dad would be towards his daughter. The family and many friends surrounding Connor and Ella are fantastic.

Through Connor, readers get to learn how patience works. Poor Connor always loved Ella for more than five years, always being near her and never getting the chance to be her man. So, he sits out and waits her out. And despite not being her man, he is always there when she needs him the most. He does whatever it takes to show her that she can be her man, love her right and be a gentleman. The chemistry is already there and doesn’t feel forced or trite. The two build up their relationship on a foundation of friendship.

Overall, Karen Frances has woven an irresistible tale of two characters who deal with the same emotions and problems as the rest of us. She weaves clever details and humanity into the heroine and the hero. The story deals with betrayal in a captivating Law and Order way, keeping the reader rooted in the main characters.
