Kate Cambridge is an indie author that writes sweet historical romance, cozy mysteries, and contemporary romance, all with a thread of hope, faith, and suspense intertwined.

Kate’s been an avid writer ever since middle school and she’s always loved living adventures vicariously through books, and as a result, she pursued a degree in Liberal Studies because nothing else quit fit her as much. Before she wrote full time, she ran her own boutique marketing agency. And prior to that she wore many hats in the corporate world which include: negotiating six and seven figure real estate deals, project management for a major supermarket company, and writing training programs.

Writing is Kate’s passion, however she also loves animals and hopes to open a shelter for homeless and abused dogs one day. Her greatest blessing and joy is her faith, being married to her absolute favorite person on the entire planet, and being a mom. She also enjoys photography, kayaking, sailing, and spending time with her family and friends at their home on Sebago Lake.

“Margaret” is the third novel in the “Suffragettes Choice Brides Agency” series and was released in 2016. Margaret Singleon’s parents tragically die in a house fire which takes everything she owns along with it, she finds she’s homeless and penniless.

Elizabeth Dow, her best friend, operates this mail-order bride agency created for Suffragettes, and offers Margaret a place to stay as she mourns her parents. Elizabeth presents Margaret with a mail order bride opportunity for a rancher in Montana, who’s fully supportive of the Suffrage Movement, she agrees to become a mail order bride.

Jake MacDonald is a rancher living in Helena, and needs a wife to help him run the place. He has stepped his timetable up for his mail order bride, and needs one in just a matter of weeks. However he never revealed why.

Margaret arrives in Montana to more than just one surprise, and she questions whether or not she should return to Boston, however there’s not turning back once her heart’s won first by somebody instead of the cowboy that is set to be her groom.

“Lawfully Charmed” is the first novel in the “Bareglen Creek Romance” series and was released in 2018. Sullivan “Sully” Clarke is sheriff in Bareglen Creek, Texas, and is facing one of the most challenging and dangerous manhunts of his entire career once he discovers that he has been ‘hired’ to protect this socialite arriving from Philadelphia. Sully doesn’t have the time or the interest, however her dad’s influence reaches wide and far. He’s got no choice.

Claire’s an independent and strong-willed woman traveling from Philly to Bareglen Creek with two purposes: to comfort her sister after recently losing her husband, and ultimately convinces both her sister and brother to come back home to Philly, where they belong. She’s also running this proposal from Edward Woodbury, one of the most sought-after bachelors in all of Philly. At least sought after by every woman except her, that is.

Sheriff Sully has some preconceived notions about Claire, and is annoyed doesn’t even start to cover how he feels about getting tasked with keep her safe. After she’s arrived, he finds he’s making a list of the things about her that he admires most, and he is surprised that he wants to get to know her better. He wants to add even more things to this ever growing list, however she’ll leave Bareglen Creek in under four weeks unless he’s able to convince her to stay.

Claire discovers she is intrigued by the intelligent and handsome Sheriff, but is chagrined that her dad tasked him with her protection. Claire’s more than capable of taking care of herself, why won’t anybody listen to her about not needing a man for such things? Or does she?
