Drake is introduced as a handsome Parisian dragon in the human form. Aisling works as a courier service agent and one of her jobs is to deliver a precious and very important artifact in Deauxville, Paris. However, she finds out that the recipient of the courier is dead and is surrounded by ash all over. In the meanwhile, Drake steals the artifact from Aisling and claims that she is not merely a courier, but a demon lord and is destined to be his mate. Aisling decides to play as a detective and investigate the death of the Madame and summons a demon, however, she herself has to deal with a demon in the form of a Newfoundland Jim, who is slobbering and wants to go walking with her. Drake attempts to show her how dragons mate. On the other hand, dead bodies begin to pile up in Paris mysteriously. She becomes a corpse magnet and also a prime suspect in the murders. Aisling tries to make her way out of the situation and solve the murder cases in order to adjust herself in the new strange world.

Aisling comes to know that Drake is also staying in the same hotel as hers, who still considers himself to be her mate.

Aisling seems to get fired up in the presence of Drake and he makes her act like a schoolgirl who has fallen in love. The situation turns ugly for Aisling as she encounters dead bodies anywhere she goes. She becomes pretty embarrassed to be considered as a prime suspect of the murders and is on the lookout for a Guardian mentor to help her control her powers. This further increases her problems as every Guardian she meets is found dead. She has to face the difficult task of proving her innocence once again and is all alone in doing so. Will there ever be another Aisling Grey book? I loved the stories and all the trouble she got in and out of and I loved the reader. Please write another one.

Is there another book featuring Ben and Fran? We’re left with a cliffhanger when she’s just found her half-sister, her mom is unconscious and Ben’s blood brother is missing. WE need to know the rest of the story.
