Hummus and Homicide is the first novel in the Kebab Kitchen Mystery series by Tina Kashian. In this fun debut, readers will meet the main character of Lucy Berberian.

Lucy used to be employed at her law firm in Philadelphia, but no more. When she quits, her plan is to return home. There are many benefits to living in Ocean Crest. The area is familiar to her, so she always knows what she is going to get. Lucy’s fulling expecting the funnel cake aroma, the wooden roller coaster standing tall, the Mediterranean restaurant and all the smells and tastes that come with it. In this case, it’s going to be good to be home.

The only thing that she didn’t account for was murder. The Jersey Shore town might not be as busy during the off season, but that’s okay with Lucy. She’s happy to be back and is even working as a waitress at the local Kebab Kitchen, owned by none other than her parents. They’ve updated the place with a hummus bar that has a variety of different flavored hummus to offer, with roasted red pepper and more. She’s also excited to hang out with the cat and get to spend some time with her long time best friend, who has since walked down the aisle and said ‘I do’ to her policeman husband.

The only thing that’s bothering her about this situation is Heather Banks. The former cheerleader appears to still be a mean girl, even if she is carrying a Gucci purse and it’s been several years. Now she’s the health inspector in town. She’s at the Kebab Kitchen for mere minutes before jotting down violations that seem vindictive more than truly offensive. But they’ll never go anywhere, because she dies in the street, collapsing dead shortly after.

It could well be an accident, but people are saying that it looks suspicious. Could Lucy be the main suspect because of her enmity with this woman and the motive of her giving the eatery poor marks? Can Lucy clear her name and prove she’s innocent? With recipes included, get a copy of this book and read to the end to find out what happens.

Stabbed in the Baklava is the second novel in the Kebab Kitchen Mystery series. This sequel is the second novel in this series about Lucy Berberian and her quest to remake her life, all while somehow getting into sleuthing in a small beach town after leaving the law firms in Philadelphia.

Now Lucy’s taken over the Mediterranean restaurant run by her family. She’s working hard, and they’ve scored a gig catering for an upcoming wedding. The gig should be lucrative and raise their profile while also garnering potential customers for the future. However, everything seems like it’s in danger of going left when the best man dies, skewered.

It’s horrible news and now Lucy is worried about the gig falling through. Her ex is also the head chef of the restaurant now and Azad is also being placed as the central suspect in the murder. The cops may think that, but Lucy knows the truth. Azad may seem intimidating but would never kill anyone. She’s got to stand up for him and prove that he is innocent before things get even worse.

Can Lucy prove that her ex didn’t do it? Are there any sparks left between them? Read this book, complete with recipes, to discover what happens!

One Feta in the Grave is the third book in the Kebab Kitchen Mystery series by Tina Kashian! With recipes included in this book, this is a food-filled mystery that will have your mouth watering.

Lucy’s running her family’s restaurant and watching summer wind down in this town on the Jersey Shore. The Kebab Kitchen will be at the beach festival this year with their own food tent. But when a businessman from town turns up dead, will things go awry?

Ocean Crest is a fun way to say goodbye to summer and tourist season, with sand castle contests and music. The locals love it, but Archie Kincaid will not have a chance to. The pompous local store owner’s been shot to death. It happened after getting into an argument with Katie, Lucy’s best friend. Archie had other foes, but can Lucy clear her pal’s name before it’s too late? Read this mystery to find out!
