Kianna Alexander is the author of the Roses of Ridgeway series, the Gentlemen of Queen City series, the Southern Gentlemen series, the Climax Creek series, and the 404 Sound series.
Alexander grew up in Durham, North Carolina where she came of age in the 1990s. She married out of college and had children, but all that time she wanted to be a writer. She pursued publishing in her twenties and eventually saw it published in 2009.
In addition to her work as an author, Kianna is an amateur seamstress and occasional painter in oils. When she’s not writing or working on those things, she enjoys American history, sweet tea, and chocolate. As a hobby she collects vintage 1980s Barbie dolls.
Can’t Resist Her is a standalone novel from Kianna. Summer Graves is back in Austin, Texas after years away and is accepting a new teaching position. There have been a lot of changes to the old neighborhood, but she is most devastated that the high school her grandmother founded is due for demolition. She wants to do what she can to stop it, but the architectural team includes another hometown girl Aiko Holt and they have history.
