Kimberly Lemming is on a quest to avoid her own calling as a main character. She can be found giving the slip to that new werewolf who just blew into town and refuses to make eye contact with a prince from a far-off land. Dodging the aliens that are looking for Earth booty can really take up a lot of a girl’s time.

However when she is not running from fate, Kimberly can be found writing diverse fantasy romance. Or shoveling chocolate into her maw until she passes out on her couch.

Kimberly has always enjoyed reading romance stories. In the year 2021, she got to this point when she just really wanted an escape. She hated the job she had by this point and needed some kind of a break from it all. Her husband was telling her that she has been talking about this romance novel she’d been planning, why not just quit her job and rest for a few months, and write it. See what happened. So she did that. She took a break and wrote a bit more of what became “That Time I Got Drunk And Saved A Demon”, and it was just so much fun and so relaxing. When she was done, she posted it on Amazon.

“That Time I Got Drunk And Saved A Demon” is the first novel in the “Mead Mishaps” series and was released in 2021. The quiet life of Cinnamon the spice trader gets turned upside down after she winds up on this quest with some fiery demon.

All that she really wanted was to live her life in peace, maybe get a cat, and expand the family spice farm. Really, anything that did not involve going on this adventure where some orc could rip her face off. However they say that the goddess has favorites, and if so, Cin clearly isn’t one of them.

After Cin saves Fallon (the demon) in this wine-drunk stupor, Fallon ends up revealing that all he truly wants to do is murder some evil witch that is enslaving his people. And who could blame him? However he is now dragging Cinnamon along for this ride whether she likes it or not. But on the plus side, at least he continues burning his shirt off.

“Mistlefoe” is the first novella in the “Mead Mishaps” series and was released in 2022. It is all fun and games up until somebody catches feelings.

Fate sends Alexis right into the lion’s den. The fox den, rather. After her dad trespassed into some powerful fox demon’s territory, their family gets struck with this powerful curse. And now, in order to remove it, Alexis is going to have to appeal to the better nature of the demon.

Which is much easier said than done. This arrogant fox demon is not going to be swayed by some apology basket filled with treats. He does, however require a fake mate for the week-long Winter Festival.

Although Alexis would be a liar if she did not admit that their doting lovers’ act was getting tougher by the day. The more time that she spent with Lucca, the more that his irresistible charms get under her skin. Deep down inside, she knows that this is all just a game. However her heart just cannot quite get the memo. When their week long affair has ended, is she truly going to be able to just walk away?

“A Bump in Boohail” is the second novella in the “Mead Mishaps” series and was released in 2022. Samhain was the biggest festival of the entire year. It was the time that the veil between the otherworld and ours thinned, which meant that any manner of spirits could come through and wreak havoc. Not that she had anything to worry about with a dragon by her side.

This year the festival would be a perfect excuse to snuggle up with her partner and enjoy Fall in full swing. Or at the very least it would have been, if she could track him down.

“That Time I Got Drunk And Yeeted A Love Potion At a Werewolf” is the second novel in the “Mead Mishaps” series and was released in 2023. Brie the Cheesemaker has got the world’s worst luck in love, which is how she winds up falling for this lactose intolerant werewolf.

Brie has never been all that coordinated, or lucky. Who else would throw a drink at somebody’s head just to miss them entirely and hit the stranger behind them by accident? And who else would have this stranger fall madly in love with them because it turns out the drink she threw was a love potion? Probably just Brie.

Dealing with a pirate ship full of demons that just moved into town and running her cheese business was plenty for her. Now to top it all off, she must convince a werewolf that she is not truly his fated mate. Even though she has to admit, having a gorgeous guy show up and do all of her chores while telling her that she is beautiful is not the worst thing that could happen to a girl.

“That Time I Got Drunk And Saved A Human” is the third novel in the “Mead Mishaps” series and was released in 2023. When Cherry was just a little girl, her Ma would read these stories to her every night. Some were epic adventures with exciting twists and high stakes while other stories were about princesses trapped in towers guarded by these fierce dragons. Those pitiful princesses would be stuck inside of them all day long pining for her prince charming to come along and rescue her.

Cherry always hated these stories. She could not imagine why such a lazy thing did not just get up and leave. Ironic since Cherry herself was stuck in this same exact situation. It turns out, when a dragon holds you hostage, he won’t just let you stand up and leave. Who knew?

When she believed she saw hope was on the horizon for her, this hope gets smashed to bits by another damned dragon.
