Kira Archer is a published American author of fictional novels.

She is a USA best-selling author who is married. She has two kids with her husband and they together in Pennsylvania with their three cats and what Kira says is way too many animals in their house, which is a bird and a dog.

Kira says that she is someone who tends to laugh at moments where it isn’t appropriate. This can extend to emotional occasions like funerals or weddings. She also has an imagination which is pretty overactive, as she describes it. Kira says that this is fantastic for when she is busy writing but is not so great when the nighttime rolls around and she’s shutting off all the lights and then has to go upstairs to sleep.

She likes to give her kids rules and then break all the same rules when they aren’t paying attention. She says that if there were such a thing in existence as having a PhD in procrastination, she would have it at expert level. When it comes to doing things, she would prefer to be reading a book over almost anything else.

When not busy writing, she is usually reading or thinking about writing or reading. She also happens to spend a lot of time running her children to different appointments, errands, and things to do. Archer says that she has odd tastes that range to the eclectic in just about everything. She often is letting her imagination run wild. She likes her romances to be playful, sexy, and come with a happily ever ending conclusion.

Archer admits that she cries at a lot of things, including emotional commercials and even live music performances. Her book Truly, Madly, Sweetly became adapted into a feature film and Hallmark Original movie in 2018.

Kira Archer also uses the pen name Michelle McLean for her historical romance novels.
