Kit Morgan is a romance, time travel, and Christian fiction author from the Pacific Northwest. Since she published her debut novel in 1995, she has consistently had her novels in several Top 100 bestselling lists under the names Geralyn Beauchamp and Kit Morgan. She has said that she has been writing since she was very young and does not remember a time when she was not writing. As Geralyn Beauchamp, she writes adventures and epic romantic fantasy. As Kit Morgan, she is best known for writing inspirational, fun, and whimsical sweet stories that often depict a sense of community and family. As Kit Morgan, his debut novel was “His Prairie Princess” that spawned the “Prairie Brides” series of novels set in Clear Creek, Oregon. She has said that she has been writing since she was a child and there is nothing she would rather do than tell stories. While she was the daughter of a homicide detective and it would be expected that she would write investigative crime fiction or such, she prefers to write whimsical and fun stories and romantic westerns. Morgan currently lives in a little log cabin in the Pacific Northwest in a small town named clear creek that is the setting for her Prairie Grooms and Prairie Brides series. She has also written the Holiday Mail Order Brides, Mail-Order Bride Ink, Bainbridge Sisters, Jones’s of Morgan’s Crossing, Fall into Romance, Prairie Tales, Cowboy Holiday Romance and Matchmakers in Time.
Before she became an author, she worked as a book reviewer for five years, which is something that she loved since she was a voracious reader of books. She had found the perfect excuse to read and it was not long before she knew about what made a good book or bestseller and wanted to write herself. Her work as a book reviewer meant that she became friends with a lot of authors that would encourage her to write her first novel “The Call” of the “Time Masters” series. Julia Quinn who was one of her best friends dared her to write something and to everyone’s surprise she had written her first novel within a year. While she finished writing the novel in 1995, she only did it to prove a point as she put the manuscript in a trunk where it sat until it was published in 2007. The novel is currently available both hardcover and digital format that was published by “Time Masters.” Other than her love for reading and writing, she also dabbles in yarning, loves coffee, and is nuts about chocolate.
Kit Morgan’s debut novel “His Prairie Princess” is the story of Sadie Jones. She is the child of Horatio Jones a cattle baron and one of the richest people in the state. She just set out on a quest to find her dying mother but the journey presents more than what she had bargained for. She never expected that her stagecoach would be waylaid and robbed, which she would be kidnapped for ransom. Sadie had been kidnapped on her last outing and she never expected lightning to strike twice. However, just as they had left the city and hit the country road, they had been attacked seemingly out of nowhere. Harrison has an English mother whose parenting skills had made him into a perfect gentleman. He had gone to get mail, and never expected to have to rescue a woman in anguish. But he found himself rescuing a beautiful woman and ensure that both of them got out f the situation safely. Both Sadie and Harrison have a goal – he is on a quest to save his brothers while she wants to rescue her mother. In the process of trying to achieve their goals, they may just find each other.
Kit Morgan’s “His Prairie Knight” opens to Colin Cooke released from prison. He never expected to see an angel in Clear Creek but he met the most beautiful girl just as he was leaving the bus stop. She was a woman of exquisite form and more beautiful than anyone he had ever see with beautiful golden curls that had a bounce. Unfortunately, the first person she met was Mrs. Irene Dunnigan, one of the persons that no one in town ever wanted to cross paths with. However, she was a merchant and people often had to deal with her when they needing something essential. The cantankerous and self-righteous woman ruled the roost and now that she had her hooks in his angel, anything between them seemed almost impossible. Mrs. Dunnigan guarded her prize like a fire breathing dragon making it impossible for him to get acquainted with her. Perhaps he could make something of it with the help of his brothers. But the help that he got was not the thing that he had in mind. Dunnigan did not expect the small town of Clear Creek to be so far away from civilization. She had been living in the bustling city of Boston and now had to come to terms with how hard life on the remote plains of Oregon could be. But it was not only life that was hard, it was learning to live with Irene her aunt who hated everyone and ruled the household with an iron fist. Unfortunately for Belle, the only eligible men she could find in a hundred mile radius were the Cookes. She had taken a particular interest in the youngest Cooke, who her aunt despised most of all.
“His Prairie Duchess” by Kit Morgan is the story of Duncan Cooke the next Duke of Stantham. As the next prince of a rich domain, he is set to have access to a wealthy estate, position, and power that will enable him to take care of his loved ones for eons. His parents had never thought that such a fortune could ever fall on their laps but it looked like it would be their new reality. But the problem is Duncan needs to find a wife in less than forty days or else he will lose the opportunity of a lifetime. Unfortunately, he lives in Clear Creek, a remote prairie town where there weren’t any eligible females for miles around. But there was Cozette Duprie, a woman that could shoot a gun, hunt and wield arrow and bow like the best of them. Rumor had it that she had once taken down a buffalo with the help of her father. But the problem is that Cozette had been living as a tomboy for so long she knew nothing about being a feminine woman. Further complicating things is the fact that her father wants her to live like a boy
