An exciting book of the Knights of Black Swan series written by author Victoria Danann is entitled ‘The Witch’s Dream’. It was released in 2012 as an ebook. This book consists of the main characters in the form of Elora Laiken, Litha Brandywine, Sir Storm, Katrina, Deliverance, Sir Kay, and several others. Sir Storm is depicted as a handsome vampire, while Litha Brandywine is shown as a witch. Both of them work for the Black Swan. Likewise, Sir Kay is also a knight of the Black Swan. The book opens by mentioning that Elora Laiken breaks the heart of Sir Storm by choosing his best friend over him. Her decision leaves him devastated. He promises himself that he will have nothing to do with women or love henceforth in his life. However, Litha Brandywine does not want the knight to be in the state that he is currently in for the rest of his life. She tries to tame his heart and make him start loving again. For her work in the Black Swan, Litha Brandywine has a high reputation. She is known to be the best tracker across the globe.

When Sir Storm arrives at the headquarters located in Edinburgh, Litha is already stationed there. She sees him and falls for his handsome personality. Litha feels like she is going through a test of her will. Another excellent novel of the series is known as ‘Gathering Storm’. It was published by the 7th House publication in 2016. This 2013 Best Indie Book Award winner consists of the central characters in the roles of Sir Engel Storm, Deliverance, Glendennon Catch, Elora Laiken, etc. This novel’s plot revolves around the misplacement of Sir Storm in a different dimension and the subsequent efforts by his team members to help him return home. Initially, it is mentioned that a demon named Deliverance loses Storm in a dimension different from their own. Also, he has no idea where he misplaced Storm as the dimension is similar to the one in which they live. After Black Swan learns about this grave problem, every member capable of helping out and finding Storm is asked to come to the headquarters. A team is formed and tasked with the high stakes mission of searching Sir Storm. Deliverance is also included in the search team as he is the last person to have seen Storm. While looking for his handsome son-in-law, Deliverance comes across a doppelganger and brings him along thinking that he is Storm.

The doppelganger causes confusion and havoc as he does not possess any of the qualities of Storm, except for an identical face and body. Upon seeing Storm behave differently, his friends come together to save his reputation before it is too late. The legendary vampires try everything in their capacity to prevent Storm from losing his reputation because of his unexpected activities. In the meantime, the real Sir Storm is mistaken by others as an addicted gambler, who is under heavy debt to the monster that has given him loans for his gambling addiction. Storm realizes that he requires his training, quick wits, an luck to get out of the situation and return to the dimension where he actually belongs. This twist-of-fate story has been labeled as intense suspense and excitement. It allowed the readers to enjoy themselves thoroughly with its poignancy, surprise, and humor elements. Author Danann received a lot of appreciation for efforts in writing the unique story of this novel. Her popularity grew to new heights because of the success of this book, which motivated her to write more novels in this series as well as for other series.

   I love this series. I have listened to or read all of the books in this series that I can find, but I’m wondering if there is a follow up book to “Gathering Storm”, where the main character is Angel Storm? I need to know what becomes of him when he returns to his own dimension!
