Kristen James is one of the popular authors of America who has written more than 30 successful books in her writing career. Most of the novels written by her are based on the romance, fiction and contemporary genres. Kristen enjoys writing about the life of women in the society and the ways in which they balance their family life and the responsibilities. Many of her written works are set near the coastline and the mountains of her home state Oregon. Author James lives in the Pacific Northwest and enjoys indulging in several outdoor activities by the river starting from canoeing to berry picking. Being a wife and a mother encouraged her to write about married romance novels, in which the couples fall in love once again after their marriage. Many of the written works of author James have featured in the to 100 Kindle books in countries like the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. The novels written by her are based on a variety of categories and have been translated into a number of languages all over the world. James was born in a small town in Oregon and grew up over there till the completion of her high school studies. She says that she got the inspiration for small town settings of most of her novels from her hometown. When she was in the 4th grade, James discovered the writer in herself with the help of her teacher Mrs. Straight. Later, her school helped her to publish her first short story as the working committee of the school realized that her writings had the potential to gather many readers outside of her school. This encouraged her to write more short stories and novels during her school days.

James even bought a typewriter by saving her pocket money. She would continuously type about whatever came to her mind throughout the summer breaks and even tried to write several practice novels. Eventually, author James went on to write a number of successful novels in her writing career over the next 10 years. Her school teacher Mrs. Straight also helped her to develop an interest towards art. She would often get indulged in making art projects based on the books that she read with Mrs. Straight. A few of her art projects were also displayed in the library of her school. Even today, author James has maintained her love towards arts and often makes drawings and temporary tattoos. She has developed a liking for the paintings of Bob Ross TV and has also bought a few of them. James always tries to improve as a novelist and write many more exciting novels in her writing career. She aims to entertain the readers to the fullest of her abilities and at the same time wishes to touch their hearts with memorable and strong characters that may have flaws just like normal human beings. Along with writing her own exciting novels, author James also considers it her mission to help other aspiring authors by motivating, educating, and inspiring them. She likes to share all her experiences and her knowledge with them so that they can also come up with their own masterpieces. The other favorite activities that author James likes to indulge herself into, besides writing novels are camping, berry picking, hiking, cycling, fishing, mushroom picking, exploring, reading, canoeing, and spending some quality time with her family.

One of the initial novels written by author Kristen James was titled ‘The Enemy’s Son’. It was published in the year 2008 as a Paperback edition. The plot of this novel deals with the lives of the main characters Nick Holloway and Cora. In the opening sequence of the plot of the novel, it is shown that Cora’s father is in deep trouble and the only person who can help him is the son of his enemy, Nick Holloway. Cora’s father is asked to give back the one million dollar which he is believed to have stolen. But, he claims that he is innocent. Nick agrees to help Cora’s father by deceiving the Holloways, but she is told not to believe him as she could be doing this to out her in even more trouble. When Nick decides to take Cora’s father to a remote cabin in the wilderness, she begins to suspect his intentions. Soon, she finds another person to help her in the form of Alexander Pierce, who seems capable of tracking down anyone in a time period of 24 hours. Alexander warns Cora that she should not trust Nick and must follow him instead if she expects to see her father alive again. Shortly after, Cora appears running away from both Nick and Alexander and tries to find her father in the Eugene city. The matter becomes even worse for her when everyone begins to think she is aware of the place where her father has hidden the stolen money.

One of the other novels written by author James was published under the title ‘More Than Memories. It was released by the Bravado publishing house in the year 2011’ and features the primary characters in the form of Trent Williams and Molly Anderson. In the opening sequence of the plot of the novel, it is seen that Molly Anderson has forgotten everything about her past life, who returns to her hometown with the hope of remembering something. When she meets the police detective of Ridge City named Trent Williams, she begins to get a spark about her past life. Molly seems desperate to know why she had left her town as she does not know what happened after that. The only thing that she remembers is the face of her parents just before they died. She believes that they might have been murdered, but it is important that she regains her memory to describe what had happened actually. On the other hand, Trent Williams also seems to be keeping some secrets of his own. But, he joins Molly to solve the mystery of her lost memory and makes her meet with her old friends. Shortly after, she begins to gain back some of her memories and comes to know that she was born in Ridge City, contrary to what her parents had told her. Molly also seemed to have been in love with Trent Williams in her past life. After realizing this, she seems to be afraid of remembering about her old life thinking that she might have done something wrong. If she comes to know about it, she fears that it would destroy her love life with Trent Williams.
