Largely writing romance novels and series, Kristen Luciani has produced a number of books over the course of her literary career. Finding her footing with high-drama and relationships, Luciani would turn this passion for romance into several ongoing series as well. Some of these would include ‘Sinfully Savage,’ ‘Mob Lust,’ and ”Love Drunk’ to name just a few of her popular franchises.

There’s a lot of ongoing narratives and arcs in her stories, although they can easily be picked up casually too. She also regularly includes themes of Mafiosa mob bosses, and the intricacies of running organized crime, looking at the dark underside of the criminal underworld. With a strong presence both online and off, she has plenty more titles set in the pipeline, continuing to be a spokesperson for both her and her craft.

Originally brought out in 2020 on the 18th of June, this would first come out on the Kindle, and it would be the second in the ‘Men of Mayhem’ series of novels. This can potentially be read as a stand-alone, but it’s best to read the others in order to get the full narrative arc. It also paves the way for the fourth book to follow on, setting up the story and the characters, introducing further arcs at the end.

Combining both danger and passion to thrilling effect, there’s definitely a lot bubbling underneath the surface of this book. With interesting and enticing characters it really does make for a compelling read, as well as featuring people the reader actually cares about. There’s also plenty for the returning fans to invest themselves in, with many elements and arcs from the previous books coming back.

Featuring Tommy Marcone of the Marcone Crime Family, this would look at his relationship with Gemma Cassarella. As the daughter of his crime rival Freddie Cassarella, this sees the two of them getting another chance to find romance with one another. That’s when business gets in the way, and the two of them must overcome the obstacles that have been placed in their path. Can they overcome them though? What will their futures bring? Will they find themselves both taken?

Savage Sinner

First published in 2021 on the 26th of May to much acclaim, this would mark the fourth title in the ongoing ‘Sinfully Savage’ series of books. Continuing on from the previous three, it would be another romance set in a criminal underworld of Mafiosa mob bosses. There’s a lot of BDSM and eroticism featured here, alongside a thriller based storyline running throughout, combining action with passion. It’s a fun and engaging read that knows what it is and does it extremely well, and the characters feel wholly believable every step of the way, drawing the readers in and immersing them in their richly defined world.

Trying to prove to her father for years that she can run the family crime business, Heaven is told her brother Conor must as he’s a man. He keeps messing things up though, eventually placing them in the cross-hairs of Carter, another dangerous criminal boss in the underworld. This leads to Heaven needing to marry Matteo in order to forge ties between her family and his Italien mafia syndicate, something she’s initially reluctant to do. Will they soon find themselves warming to one another though? Can they forge the necessary ties to keep them out of harm’s way? What will become of the once savage sinner?
